HAMILTON (CP). -- A youngster who claimed he received a burn on his hand from touching the "antenna" of a softly glowing "flying ship" has had no ill effects.
Mrs. James Cozens of Hamilton said Tuesday her son Charles, 13, was watched carefully for weeks after the March 29 excitement.
At that time Charles raced home after viewing what he termed "two strange ships" land in a field behind a neighborhood police station.
A constable verified that the boy had a three-inch yellowish burn mark on his hand.
A test for radioactivity made four days later failed to disclose any cause for concern. Blood tests also confirmed no ill effects.
