Oslo, August 26. -- General Motzfeldt, spokesman for the Norwegian Air Force, stated yesterday that a large helicopter, loaned by the U.S. Air Force for certain transport operations and piloted by an American, was indeed operating in the very area where two Norwegian sisters claimed to have seen a flying saucer and its pilot.
In response to this explanation, the regional newspaper "Heldgelad Arbeider-Bladet" reported that the two sisters were standing by their account.
However, it was learned late yesterday that the newspaper "Aftenposten" announced that American pilot Baily Faurot had confirmed, during his stop in Oslo, that he had in fact encountered in the Mosjoeen region the two people who had mistaken his helicopter for a "flying saucer", and himself for an inhabitant of Mars.
