Moscow, Efe. -- Scientists from the Geophysics Laboratory of Voronezh, 500 kilometers southeast of Moscow, have confirmed the recent landing of an unidentified flying object and have found "alien traces" left by beings who took a short walk through the city's park, the Tass agency reported yesterday.
"A large glowing ball or disc was seen flying over the park. Then it landed, a hatch opened, and human-like forms emerged from inside. Numerous eyewitnesses, including children, confirmed this," said Tass, citing a correspondent in Voronezh.
According to these witnesses, the official Soviet agency reported, the extraterrestrials were "about three meters tall but had very small heads."
"We detected an anomaly in the magnetic field using bioelectronic methods," declared the head of the research team from the Voronezh Geophysics Laboratory.
In a 20-meter-wide depression, at the spot where the UFO allegedly landed, traces of what may have been landing gear have been found.
"Mineralogical analysis of the rock showed that no similar material exists on Earth, although more time is needed for a definitive analysis," the scientist stated.
Silánov added that scientists have found evidence that the soil at the supposed landing site contains metal particles that may have fallen from the UFO.
"Witnesses reported that one of the extraterrestrials used an unknown method to make a child disappear, but shortly afterward, the boy reappeared," said Tass.
"They also recounted that the UFO took off and disappeared into the sky before nightfall."

Según estos testigos, se&ntidle;ala la agencia oficial soviética, los extraterrestres eran "de unos tres metros de alto, pero tenían cabezas muy peque&ntidle;as".
"Detectamos una anomalía del campo magnético utilizando métodos bioelectrónicos, declaró el jefe del equipo de investigación del Laboratorio de Geofísica de Voronezh."
En una depresión de 20 metros de diámetro, en el lugar en que presuntamente aterrizó el ovni, se han encontrado huellas de lo que puede haber sido el tren de aterrizaje.
"El análisis mineralógico de la roca mostró que en la Tierra no existe una análoga, aunque es preciso más tiempo para un análisis definitivo", se&ntidle;aló el científico.
Silánov a&ntidle;adió que los científicos han encontrado pruebas de que el suelo en el lugar del supuesto aterrizaje contiene partículas de metal que pueden haber caído del ovni.
"Los testigos han narrado que uno de los extraterrestres utilizó un método desconocido para hacer desaparecer a un ni&ntidle;o, pero poco después el chico reapareció", dijo Tass.
"También han relatado que el ovni despegó y desapareció en el cielo antes de anochecer."
