A man known as Jean-Claude was convinced that he had seen UFOs, in 1980 or 1981, probably in February, as he was a professional military man at the camp of Mourmelon in the North of Châlons-sur-Marne. It was three whitish discs in the sky at night, half the size of the full moon in size each, and distant from each others from the size of the full moon, in equilateral triangle formation. The moon was seen too.
He was certain the other men with him also saw it, but they did not say a word and did not even look at each others. French ufologist Joël Mesnard had interviewed him on February 6, 1993.
Possibly on the same day, Mesnard learned that the witness met 11 or 12 years later what was later called a Man-in-Black, in a small city in the department of the Oise, Noyon according to other sources, in the end of October 1992 or possibly in the very beginning of November 1992.
One day at about 01:30 p.m., Jean-Claude was walking his bitch in a way along gardens, and when he reached the end of the way, on the West bank of the Canal du Nord, he started to walk back, when he saw from a distance of approximately 150 meters from him, the black silhouette of a person who was facing him from the center of the way.
He described this character as 1.80 tall, slender, generally black-colored up to the neck, wearing some sort of a rower's hat of 10 to 15 centimeters height.
The most surprising to Jean-Claude was that although he was at 150 meters from him, he was struck by the eyes of the character; which he described as "like two black points, very deep", giving the feeling to "look into a void."
The purported man-in-black immediately walked with large steps towards the fences of the gardens and disappeared from sight behind a heap of manure that was in front of the fence.
Jean-Claude was puzzled and approached quickly, wondering why this figure hid there, but he found nobody behind the heap of horse manure. Jean-Claude felt certain that if the character had crossed the fence he would have seen him because the fence was 2 meters high, and that he couldn't have used the metallic door in the fence because it was locked.

Jacques Costagliola lists that on January 30, 1993, in Noyon, department 60, Nicole and J. Claude X saw three balls, suffered headaches for a week, and paresthesia.
The source is indicated as "LDN 316".
[Ref. ar1:] ALBERT ROSALES:
Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in Noyon, Oise, France, on end of October or early November 1992, at 13:30, Jean Claude was walking on a path when he saw standing about 150 meters from him a tall black silhouette about 1.80 meters in height. The figure stood still for a while. The figure was slim and it had two luminous yellow points of light where the eyes would have been located. It appeared to be wearing a dark tight-fitting suit and some sort of headgear. The figure then moved using great strides towards a nearby field. It then quickly disappeared from sight.
Rosales indicates that the source are LDLN # 332, Denys Breysse Project Becassine.
[Ref. cm1:] CHRISTIAN MACE:
Christian Macé indicates that in the end of October, or the very beginning of November 1992, Nicole and Jean-Claude lived in Noyon, in the Oise. Jean-Claude walked his bitch towards 13:30 in a way which bordered gardens close to the channel of the North, when he then "saw ... 'a man in black!'" of a size of 1.80 meters, a black general color, up to the neck. He was capped with a kind of rower-hat, had eyes like two black spots, deep, "You would have believed you looked into the void!!!"
Christian Macé indique que la source est Joël Mesnard, dans "LDLN", N.332, en un article sur de mystérieux personnages des pages 29 à 36.
[Ref. jm1:] JOEL MESNARD:
Joel Mesnard reminds that he told of the case in "Lumières Dans La Nuit" issue 332, with a picture of the witness he took on the location of the encounter.
Mesnard indicates that in a small city in the department of the Oise in the end of October 1992 or possibly in the very beginning of November 1992, at about 01:30 p.m., the man whose firstname is Jean-Claude was walking his bitch in a way along gardens, the other end of that way being on the West bank of the canal du Nord.
Arrived at the end of the way, Jean-Claude was starting to walk back when he saw at a distance of approximately 150 meters from him, the black silhouette of a person who was facing him from the center of the way.
The character is described as 1.80 tall, not a fat person, generally black-colored up to the neck, wearing some sort of a rower's hat of 10 to 15 centimeters height. The most surprising to Jean-Claude was that although he was at 150 meters from him, he was struck by the eyes of the character, which he described as "like two black points, very deep", giving the felling to "look into a void."
The character immediately walked with large steps towards the fences of the gardens and disappear behind a heap of manure that was in front of the fence.
Jean-Claude was puzzled and approached quickly, wondering why this character hid there, but he found nobody behind the heap of horse manure. Jean-Claude told that he is certain that if the character had crossed the fence he would have seen him because the fence is 2 meters high and the metallic door in the fence was locked.
Mesnard indicates that Jean-Claude had seen a UFO, but it was in 1980 or 1981 probably in February, as he was a professional military man at the camp of Mourmelon in the North of Châlons-sur-Marne. It was three whitish discs in the sky at night, half the size of the full moon in size each, and distant from each others from the size of the full moon, in equilateral triangle formation. The moon was seen too. He was certain the other men with him also saw it but they did not say a word and did not even look at each others. Mesnard had interviewed him on February 6, 1993.
The witness tells that there was a metallic door in the fence. The witness thought that the character could not have gone into the garden because he would have seen him cross the 2 meters fence and the door was locked. But the character could have simply been someone who had the keys of that garden door.
There is no UFO in relation to this encounter with a character that appears to be a normal man, except for the eyes. But it is indeed impossible to see someone's eyes from 150 meters away.
So there are only two strangeness features, one easily explainable and the other impossible, the whole with only one witness who had seen some UFO previously and could have been familiarized with UFO themes such as the "Men-in-Black" lore, making from a not-so-strange encounter something out of the ordinary.
