The ufology magazine Lumières Dans La Nuit reported in 1992 that in a place not specified of the area of Provins, a truck driver and his female passenger circulated one evening of April 1992, at 03:00 a.m., when they observed a kinf of triangular spaceship wrapped in a white light.
This object came down towards them. From this moment, the truck did not answer the solicitations of the driver any more and moved by itself towards the side of the road.
The two witnesses were immobilized, paralyzed, while the object landed.
Three very tall beings dressed in silver-colored outfit came towards them, aiming kinds of flashlights. They had weird eyes, large, yellow, glowing, and no other perceptible characteristics.
The two witnesses do not know any more what occurred then, they had a lapse of memory for three hours, they found themselves parked out of the road 3 hours later.
The driver, taking a shower after the event, discovered traces of punctures on his arms.
The magazine specifies that the report was deposited on a ufological minitel server and that they tried to obtain more precise details of the anonymous author, in vain.

[Ref. ln1:] "LUMIERES DANS LA NUIT" MAGAZINE:
The magazine indicates that the case, close to Provins in the Seine-et-Marne, one evening of April 1992, is a testimony deposited at the end of the year 1992, in an anonymous manner, on the "Your testimonys" service of the minitel server 3615 INFO OVNI.
The account is indicated as being that of a male road driver and his female passenger who drove in the area Provins, when they saw a kind of triangular spaceship wrapped of a white light that came doen towards them.
The two witnesses were not afraid, even when their vehicle appeared to move gently towards the side of the road, independently of the will of its driver.
They felt immobilized, and were in the incapacity to drive away, whereas the UFO landed not far.
Three very tall beings dressed in silver-colored outfits advanced towards them, aiming some kinds of lamps at them.
The two witnesses noticed their weird eyes, but did not distinguish any other detail of their faces.
The one of the two witnesses who wrote the report ensured that they do not know what happened next, that have a three hours lapse of memory. The man indicates when he took a shower afterwards, he discovered traces of punctures on his arms.
The magazine comments that it would be necessary to be able to look further into the report, that if the story is true, those who experienced it should do everything so that only the minimum of doubt about its authenticity can remain, because the frilosity of some witnesses contributes to delay a collective awakening about the the reality of abductions, which is "undoubtedly badly proven", but that "with such an accumulation of evidence", prudence commands that the worst possibility is considered.
The magazine tried to obtain more precise details from the author, but in vain, and the editors specified that they only pass on the story with all the reservation that are essential as for its authenticity that they could not check.

Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that near Provins, Seine et Marne, France, on April 1992, at 03:00 a.m., two witnesses traveling on a road near the village saw a large luminous white triangular shaped craft hovering on the side of the road. Soon three tall humanoids with large yellow glowing eyes and with no other discernible features and wearing silvery combination suits came out of the object. At this point the witnesses apparently blacked out and came to 3 hours later parked on the side off the road. Strange marks were found on the witnesses' arms.

When I published the file on January 9, 2008, I commented:
"The story is highly interesting, unfortunately its origin is not specified. As it stands, it may have been some anonymous reader's letter to the ufology magazine, with no follow-up investigation, no credibility."
With the addition of the [ln1] source, it appears that I was right, except that it was not by letter but by Minitel that the story came.
Minitel: Minitel was a telematic communication system developed in France by the Ministry for the Posts and Telecommunications and used primarily in the 1980's and 1990's. The numerous subscribers could consult information servers via a text-based terminal and also send texts to servers. The use of the Minitel can be seen here like an ancestor of the report sent by eMail and published on the Internet. |
