In 1995, a French ufologist provides a translation of a report from China by China UFO Research Organization's Liu Xiaoquanx, titled "An Incredible Encounter."
The text tells in a fictional and naive tone that on August 13, 1988, in the center of the Jiulongshan afforestation, Hubei province, center of China, the witnesses of an encounter were an old couple of illiterate foresters, Huang Yongsheng, 62, and his wife Zhang Jiuhua, who lived for about 40 years in a wooden house located in a clearing on a slope in a valley covered of a thick forest.
In that particularly hot, dark and rainy autumn afternoon at 04:20 p.m. approximately, a storm broke, the sky was black as in the night, and thunder flashes furrowed "in curving flashes", while the forest trembled from deafening thunderclaps.
The man decided to go check outside the young trees of the seedbed and his absent neighbor stags park, of which he was responsible, while his wife rather had him stay inside as he suffered of rheumatoid arthritis.
But the man insisted, opened the two flaps of the house door, and with his wife he was amazed to see a shape, darker than the sky, hovering one meter from the trees in the valley within 120 meters of them. This dark lead colored shape slightly vibrated, and it landed in a wink at the edges of the clearing, while shaking from left to right and vice versa, while becoming brighter and finally brilliant.
The old couple fell in ecstasy at this display such as they never saw and they forgot about any danger.
All of a sudden, the shining reversed-bowl-shaped UFO stopped swinging and projected almost at the same time two beams of blood red light.
One of these beams moved towards the forest, the other stroke right at the house, and the old couple was temporarily blinded. The terrorized woman fell on the ground in a state from syncope, her husband struggled hard and managed to open his eyes to look at what was going on in front of them.
The red light column narrowed little by little and sucked the man close to the craft which had become completely transparent like glass. Soaked by the storm, he felt slightly burned by the craft he estimated to have a diameter of some 5 meters.
He then saw two thin beings with hairy mouse-faces, two pointed ears, two tiny but sharp eyes, but he cannot see a nose and a mouth, because the chin was so pointed that there seems to be no space left for a nose and mouth. One of the beings, dressed in gray, seated in front of a lever, made a sign by means of disproportionally long arms at the old forester, whose dazzled eyes could hardly see anything. Sucked up by the blood red light or its invisible force, Huang Yongsheng entered the craft through a sliding door. It seemed to him that a softness, calm, an extraordinary euphoria, reigned in the craft. The second being took a large box like a matchbox, and a screen of 2 meters by 2 shining like aluminum paper came down from the ceiling.
Then, the being directed the box towards the man who was suddenly floated a foot above the floor and "lost consciousness while being lucid." With closed eyes, he mentally saw a small screen where an unknown landscape was shown; and telepathically commented to be the planet of the beings, "located outside your solar system."
The old man has no notion of astronomy and cannot believe the stuff about "other suns", as he knows there is only one sun in the sky; the aliens would tell him to come back next week for some astronomy courses about "the constellations of stars".
The alien's movie shows hills and plains and rivers, and several UFO landing strips with dark colored UFO in the shape of plates, bowls, spinning tops, and two meters beings busy around these UFOs.
When the movie is over, a footbridge is deployed at once down to the ground and Huang is led by an invisible force in front of his house where a being makes him clear that he must keep the secrecy about the encounter.
Back home, he finds his wife in bed, and she tells him that she had been looking for him for two days in the forest, while he thought he was only with the aliens for some minutes.
He told her about the encounter, breaking his secrecy promise, and his wife does not want him to go at the next meeting. When the day came, she served him wine, cooked him good food, but at night fall, he felt very uneasy, hear a beeping sound, his face started to swell and turn red, so, seeing her husband choking, the wife let him go outside.
He runs like hell to the rendezvous in the clearing, found the UFO landed there and the two beings waiting for him. However, he was not welcome, as he revealed the secret, and at once the UFO and the beings went.

François Couten indicates that Liu Xiaoquanx, a highly skilled Chinese investigator, important member of the C.U.R.O. (China UFO Research Organization), wrote a report titled "An Incredible Encounter", translated as follows.
On Saturday, August 13, 1988, in the center of the Jiulongshan afforestation, province of Hubei, in the center of China, an old couple of foresters lives. The husband is called Huang Yongsheng and his wife, Zhang Jiuhua. Huang Yongsheng is 62 years old, he has little background, still works as logger and Guard of the State Forest, he can hardly read and write. His wife is illiterate and lived with him for about 40 years in a wooden house located in a valley covered of a thick forest.
The autumn of 1988 is particularly hot, dark and rainy in this area which is one of the valleys of virgin forest of the province of Hubei. At 04:20 p.m. approximately this August 13, a storm breaks, the sky is as black as in the night, and once in a while furrowed by curving flashes, the forest trembles under deafening thunderclaps. A storm violently strikes the branches of the trees and the wooden roof of the house of the old couple, built in a clearing on a slope.
The thunder explodes suddenly above the top of trees close to the house, and the forester says:
"I have to go check the young trees of the seedbed, moreover, the old Lin Shuiqing is on holiday, he trusted me to monitor his stags park, I am afraid that something wring happens his young stags..."
His wife answers him with reserve: "But, by this beating storm... moreover, you have been suffering for two weeks from your rheumatoid arthritis!"
But he insists: "My duty is to take good care of this valley where rare and invaluable trees are growing. I must guarantee the safety of the seedbed and the stags park."
The thunder flash curves in a low and dark sky. When the old forester opens the two flaps of the door of the house, his wife and him are struck with amazement: they see a form, darker than the sky, hovering one meter from the top of the trees in the valley, within 120 meters of them. This dark lead colored shape slightly vibrates. In a wink, it landed at the edges of the clearing while shaking from left to right and vice versa, while becoming lighter and finally brilliant. The old couple falls in ecstasy in front of this display such as they never saw and they forget about any danger and any prudence.

With closed eyes, he sees in his head a small lit screen where a completely unknown landscapes shown; a voice is heard "behind this small spiritual screen:"
"What you see is various topographies of our planet located outside your solar system."
The old man asks mentally: "What does solar system mean?"
The voice answers: "You humans are living on a planet which rotates around your sun. We have our own sun."
The logger does not understand anything of it and asks: "In do the sky, I see one sun only, where does yours come from?"
"You obviously do not understand that the universe is composed of billions and billions of suns that you do not see. However, in the night, when you look at the black sky, you note the presence of many luminous stars there, in fact, each one is a sun which forms a solar system."
The small multicolored screen shows a sun less shiny than ours, around whose three spheres turn of which one is inhabited. On this sphere - the mother-planet of the mouse-faced gray beings - brooks and rivers are running, hills and mountains are spread, plains and deserts extend.
Huang Yongsheng sees several landing strips where apparatuses of dark color in the shape of plates, bowls, spinning tops, are posed, and two meters tells beings busy around these apparatuses. The small screen in the head of Huang dies out. A footbridge is deployed at once down to the ground and Huang is led by an invisible force in front of his house where a beings makes him understand by signs igniting in his mind that he must keep the secrecy of this adventure and come back the next Saturday in the western forest, for a lesson of initiation about the constellations of stars.
His wife is stuck in bed, when she suddenly see him fall on the doorstep of the house, she goes down the bed in haste and runs towards him, shaking him up, awaking him with difficulty.
"But, wake up! Where are you coming from? You disappeared during two days and two nights! I looked for you in the valley and on all the paths around our house."
Huang Yongsheng wakes up, his eyes flicker, he does not understand any more: "But why am I in such a state?"
His wife answers, anxious: "The day before yesterday, there was a great storm. A light blinded me during all the evening, and since then I could not see any more. I shouted your name on the terrace in front of the house and the next day I looked for you in the forest. These last days, nobody came, moreover we still do not have the telephone although we have been asking for it for so long, therefore I could not call for help. I awaited you in the bed, in sadness..."
Huang Yongsheng comforts his wife: "But, I spent only a few minutes up there, now I am at your side, it's going to be alright."
"What it is up there?"
"This dark thing posed at the edge of the forest, didn't you see it?"
"No, or rather yes, just an enormous shade, you went up inside?"
"Yes, very interesting..." Huang Yongsheng tells her what comes up his mind about his adventure in an unknown object, he finally says "I do not understand why these beings do not speak, but I can know what they want to communicate to me with the small screen. Moreover, I do not need to speak either, they can guess what I think."
Intrigued by her husband's story, Zhang Jiuhua asks: "So, what did they explain to you?"
"That's all very complicated. They told me that in space, there is our sun, their sun and many other suns. I do not believe them, for we never saw other suns."
"Maybe they are liars, swindlers. How can there be a second, a third sun in the sky? Impossible! And finally, what do these beings look like?"
Huang Yongsheng, a peasant who never left this isolated valley, cannot describe the aspect of the occupants of the unknown craft, he mumbles: "I did not examine them, I did not pay attention to their body. In any case, they have a hairy and pointed head, two small eyes, not very pretty!..."
After a short silence, Huang Yongsheng entrusts to his wife: "Between us, I can tell you a secret: they invited me to meet them on next August 20 in the western forest."
"You must not go there!"
"Why? They are nice people!"
"Beware! I won't let you go."
On August 20, in the evening, Zhang Jiuhua locks up her husband in the kitchen, serves him wine and good dishes. However, at night fall, her old man feels very uneasy and an acute sound - ZEE... ZEE... - hurts his ears. His muscles inflate his reddish face, he wants to get out of the house at all costs. Seeing her husband choking, Zhang Jiuhua resigned to the whims of his man and lets him go outside.
Once outside, Huang Yongsheng runs like hell to the rendezvous. In a broad clearing, a large machine is posed, and nearby the two beings wait for him. They make him understand that as he revealed the secret he is not welcome anymore. At once the machine and the beings get away.

The author indicates that in the center of afforestation of Jiulongshan, province of Hubei, in China, August 13, 1988 at approximately 04:20 p.m., a heat day, a terrible storm burst.
Huang Yongsheng, an old man, forester, came out to examine young seedlings of the seedbed of the center of afforestation of which he had the guard, in spite of the requests of his wife Zhang Jiuhua who tried to dissuade him to go outside in the storm.
He opened the door all the same, and with his wife he discovered in awe a large dark object hovering above the summit of the trees at a hundred meters.
Immediately, this craft landed at the edge of the wood, and suddenly, two beams of red light having the appearance of a very thick liquid were projected on the couple which was immediately dazzled.
The woman lost consciousness and he "was sucked by the light", in direction of the craft inside which he faced hairy creatures of thin stature. They had faces which evoked those of rats or mouse, with large pointed ears, and small eyes with a penetrating glance, a very pointed and fine chin, and almost invisible noses and mouths.
The man was not frightened and the beings did not seem hostile, and a quiet and peaceful or even joyful atmos reigned inside the UFO.
One of the beings used a kind of box and brought down from the ceiling a shining screen, of approximately 2 meters by 2. He directed the box towards the witness, which made him float a few centimeters above ground-level and sink in a sort of semi-conscious state, and he saw raveling in front of his closed eyes strange landscapes, and at the same time heard a voice which explained that these images were sights of his planet of origin.
After the end of this projection, Huang Yongsheng was brought back at home "by the same mysterious force", the voice having requested that he keeps all this secret and asking that he come back in the forest the next Saturday for "a lesson of initiation on the constellations and stars." It is said the witness had "only sparse knowledge in astronomy" and had expressed wondering with the aliens at the idea of the existence of "other solar systems."
When he regained consciousness, his wife told him that he had been missing for almost two days, whereas he thought it was only a few minutes. He told him his adventure, and she forbade him to go to the next appointment, and locked him up in the kitchen that day, trying to distract him with wine and good food.

Albert Rosales indicates that in Hubei, Jiulongshan, China, on August 13, 1988 at 04:20 p.m., in a reforestation center, 62 years old forester Huang Yongsheng had gone out to check on his herd of deers during a violent thunderstorm.
As he opened the door, he saw a shape, dark like dark lead, hovering one meter above the trees, at 120 meters away, which appears to be gently vibrating. This UFO landed in a clearing and begun to shine brightly, then started to swing back and forth, and now the witness saw that the craft was shaped like a reversed bowl.
Then two blood red beams of light came out of the UFO, one striking the witness. At the same time, his wife came outside and promptly fainted. The beam became smaller and levitated the witness towards the object, which by now had become transparent and was about 5 meters in diameter.
Inside the object, he saw two thin humanoids with gray skin, "mouse-like faces (?), pointed ears, very small beady eyes, pointed chins and very long arms" and no visible noses or mouths. Both were wearing gray suits. The first sat in front holding a lever. He had a "calm demeanor almost euphoric in nature." The second seemed to be operating a small box, apparently making the witness levitate.
At this point, Huang saw a screen in front of him and heard a voice in his head talking about cosmological concerns that the illiterate witness did not comprehend. He saw pictures of planetary landscapes.
Before returning to the ground he was told that they would come back August 20 and give him an "initiation" lesson.
Back home, his wife is in bed and he realizes that he has been gone for two days.
During the encounter, the witness felt no fear and was completely at ease., and he believed that only minutes had passed. On August 20, he went at the meeting point but was rebuffed by the aliens who told him that he had broken his promise not to tell anyone.

The most original source shows a story that has the tone of a very naive science-fiction fable, quite similar to any western contactee story in the 50's. There is a blatant lack of trace of any investigation, and the story might just as well been found by the Chinese ufologist in some magazine or newspaper.
