The newspaper Diario de Cadiz reported in their August 5, 1982 issue that in Vejer de la Frontera, Cadiz, Spain, on July 20, 1982, at 03:00 p.m. a local cattleman was on his motorcycle on a little traveled road, when his motorcycle suddenly came to a halt and would not start. He then walked to what he thought was a tanker truck one hundred meters away.
When he was about 30 meters away, he saw two huge human like figures standing in the middle of the road, these two wore shiny metallic armor-like suits and round crystal-like clear helmets. One stood near a wire fence and was looking at the cattle on a nearby field. These two beings then walked back to the object, moving "as astronauts on the moon" according to the witness, they entered the object through an opened hatch.
The object took off silently towards the north. Ground traces were reportedly found.
No ufological seems to have been conducted on the case.

Albert Rosales indicates that his source is "Enciclopedia de Los Encuentros con Ovnis" [sic, "Enciclopedia de Los Encuentros Cercanos con Ovnis"] by Fernandez-Peri, and Ballester Olmos [sic, Vicente-Juan Ballester-Olmos and José Antonio Fernandez Peris].
I asked around a group of fine European ufologist whether the summary by Albert Rosales matches the source "Vicente-Juan Ballester Olmos & Juan A. Fernández Peris, "Enciclopedia de los encuentros cercanos con ovnis", Barcelona: Plaza and Janés, March 1987" (Point 1 in the list of issues).
I thus was informed that the summary by Rosales is accurate, that the page number in the used source is pp 210-211. ad the only difference worth mentioning is that when Rosales mentions "moving as if in slow motion", the earlier source indicates that the witness said "they walked as the astronauts in the Moon".
Also, in the "Enciclopedia de los encuentros cercanos con ovnis" was the important comment by the author Ballester and Peris that said it is indispensable an onsite non-journalistic re-investigation of the incident. This source also provides the reference to the original, journalistic source: "Diario de Cádiz" for August 5, 1982.
I also learned from my corrrespondent that he also knows of no ufological investigation on the case - which is thus a newspaper article with no ufological investigation - and that there was no commonplace explanation.
