The ufology magazine Lumières Dans La Nuit reportedly told in 1993 that in Beauvois les Cambrésis ior in the area of Cambrai, the Nord, France, on March 29, 1978, a teenager who was to take the bus to go to a cross-country race walked towards the bus stop but he was late. His sister thus decided to catch up with him on her bicycle in order to take him along to the bus stop, but she rode the trop without finding him.
When the sister rode back, she found him in the ditch, unconscious and bare chested, and without his replacements crampons; which would never be found. There were steps summarily cut in the high slope that borders the road.
The brother was delirious and told about four small men dressed in green who had wanted to make him a puncture at the left arm, where a V-shaped trace is indeed visible. When he awoke he reminded that he saw a luminous UFO dive on him, "which is corroborated by traces of desiccation on a nearby tree and in the grass, evoking the use of a ball of plasma. "
He has black vomiting as if one had injected a toxic product in him "perhaps radioactive, unless the irradiation came directly from the UFO". He reportedly stayed in observation at the hospital for 8 days.
In another version claimed to be based on the same source, it is said it occurred in the evening, but it was the family who looked for the missing teenager in the woods on the nearby hills. The UFO does not "dive" on him but was a "large and luminous object on the ground" and he is not kept in observation for 8 days but 8 hours.
In still another version, the teenager does not walk to the bus stop, but uses his bicycle because he missed the bus.

The magazine's website seems to have compiled article fragments, including:
"The landing of the aliens is often quite practical to hide annoying matters..." and "on 29 March 1978, a teenager from Cambrai abducted by little green men made much speak about him in the press. At the same time, Giscard [then French president] does all he can so that one forgets General Bokassa's diamonds [it was said Bokassa offered President Giscard loads of diamonds, which created a political scnadal then]. Region of Cambrai (the Nord), March 29, 1978The victim, a teenager, must take the bus to go to a cross-country race. his way by foot towards the bus stop was thus foreseeable and it was possible to awaithim. The young man is late and perhaps this saved him, for his sister rushed after him to catch up with him by bicycle in order to take him along on her bicycle frame to the bus stop. She exceeds it [the bus stop] without seeing him, then goes back and finds him in the ditch, unconscious and chest naked. Her sudden arrival must have surprised the operators whose presence is confirmed by the fact that the replacements cramps of her brother will never be found. Apparently, these operators had planned a fast escape from the place thanks to steps summarily cut in the high slope which borders the road. In his delirium which follows the aggression, the teenager describes 4 small men dressedin green who wanted to make him a puncture at the left arm, on which a V shaped mark is indeed visible. His black vomiting suggests the injection of a toxic product, perhaps radioactive, unless the irradiation came directly from the UFO. Indeed, waking up, the victim reminds to have seen a luminous UFO diving at him, which is corroborated by traces of desiccation on a close tree and in the grass, evoking the use of a plasma ball. The victim remained 8 days in observation at the hospital. |

Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in Cambrai, Nord, France, on March 29, 1978, in the evening, a young man on his way to a cross-country race missed a bus and had to go on his bicycle. Soon his presence is missed among his friends and family members and after conducting a search of the nearby wooded hills. The young man is found in an incoherent state and shirtless on the slopes of a hill. Upon coming to he describes encountering 4 small men dressed in green clothing that approached him and hold him down as they puncture his arm with a needle-like instrument. A V-shaped mark is indeed found in the arm. The young men suffered from black vomit, possibly as a result of some toxic material in his system or of radiation. He also remembered seeing a large luminous object on the ground. A search of the area found an area of dry up or burned grass on the ground. He is taken to a hospital and remains under observation for 8 hours.
Albert Rosales indicates that the source is "LDLN website."
[Ref. lc1:] LUC CHASTAN:
The website indicates that on March 29, 1978, in Cambrai in the Nord in France, at an unknown jour, one person was a witness of a short distance visual observation of an object on the ground and figures.
The following summary is provided:
"A young man was to go to a race, but having missed the bus, he went there by bicycle. In the evening, as he wasn't back, his family started to worry and launched a search in the nearby wooded hills. The young man was found talking incoherently, his clothes damaged on the slope of a hill. He started to talk about four small men dressed in green that had approached him, grabbed him and made him a puncture at the arm with an instrument resembling a syringe. A mark in the shape of a V was found on his arm. The witness started to vomit. He also remembered a large and luminous object posed on the ground. A search in the zone made it possible to discover a surface where the grass was desiccated or burned. The witness was kept under observation at the hospital for eight hours."

The website says that on 29 March 1978 at 12:20 in Cambrai, France, "Witness reported that a period of time could not be accounted for. One object was observed in a residential area for 90 minutes."
And: "A young man on his way to a cross-country race missed a bus and had to go on his bicycle. [ar1] indicates as source "LDLN Web Site", that is actually ldln.net, a website built as a window for the ufology magazine "Lumières Dans La Nuit" (LDLN). In date of October 2009, looking this web source for this case, found nothing nothing there; it is possible that it was a web page that later disappeared. "LDLN Web Site" is obviously not a serious formulation to indicate a source reference.
[lc1] is not a much better example of source referencing. Indeed, the ufoinfo.com maintained by John Hayes exists, but actually the source is [ar1] ... quite simply because John Hayes' UFOinfo website hosts Albert Rosales' catalogue. John Hayes is in no way the "source", this is like claiming the editor instead of the author of a book is the source.
There are obvious contradictions in the various ufological versions with regard to the circumstances of the business, and this although all refer to the same source. The documentation of the case seems quite meager, nothing indicates that there was an investigation or any checking, and the case seems to have been reported quite tardily, in 1993.
The Technikart magazine website claims that the case was in the Press, but I found no evidence of that and I suspect that the magazine confuses with the hoax by Franck Fontaine and his friends the next year; which actually did much noise in the media.
