Sensationalist and inventive author Gray Barker had told in his saucerist bulletin that in December 1968, Lonnie Duggan, a 43-year-old Idaho farmer, heard a ruckus in his cattle shed, took a flashlight and went to investigate, found his cattle released in freedom, and when he entered the shed, saw a little 1.30 meters tall man covered of fur, yet dressed in a tight fitting outfit, who was sucking blood from the apparently paralyzed horse with a huge syringe.
The little man told him in a "computer" voice that he came from a planet around Tau Ceti, that his people had often come to Earth in the last 100 years, to collect "specimens of the processes of life of the Earth", that they plan no invasion but will only share their knowledge when mankind bans war and learns to live in peace the ones with the others.
Next, the humanoid suddenly commanded Duggan to return inside the house and to stay there half an hour, which Mr. Duggan did, and by the kitchen window he saw an enormous shining object rise and spout out in the sky "like a flash."
Gray Barker claimed the U.S. Air Force questioned Mr. Duggan during several hours and subjected him to the lie detector.

[Ref. hd1:] HENRI DURRANT:
The author indicates that he delivers a case by way of simple curiosity; which he was unable to "check coordinates that are not complete."
Lonnie Duggan, a 43-year-old farmer in Idaho, the USA, heard his horse rush into the cattle shed. Wanting to know the reason of the ruckus, he took a flashlight and is went outside, initially noted that his cattle was released in freedom, then entered by the back door in the cattle shed saw a man of strange appearance, covered of hairs like fur, who took the blood of the side of his horse - which did not react any more - with a large syringe.
The approximately 1.35 meters tall man, surprised, faced the witness and started to speak in a strange, mechanical way "like a computer", saying:
"I come from worlds beyond yours. I come from well beyond your solar system. I come from a planet of the sun that you call Tau Céti. We are here to collect specimens of the processes of life of the Earth."
The humanoïde then declared that his people had arrived on the Earth for the first time more than 100 years ago, and that they visited it rather often since, that his planet does not consider an invasion of the Earth, and he promised that his people would share their knowledge with the Earthmen some day, when we have "learned how to live in peace the ones with the others and banished war."
As alerted by an inaudible signal, the humanoid suddenly commanded that Mr. Duggan immediately returns in his house and remained there during half an hour; which Mr. Duggan did, and by the window of the kitchen giving on the cattle shed, he saw an huge bright object rise from behind and spout out in the sky "like a flash."
Members of the personnel of the U.S. Air Force questioned Mr. Duggan during several hours and subjected him to the lie detector.
Henri Durrant indicates that the source is "Saucer News", volume XVI, #4/74, pages 9 and 10.
He comments on the case by taking again its elements, indicates that the humanoid's talk on an age of peace and co-operation is "in conformity with many other cases of hallucination, of pseudo-mystic illumination recognized by psychiatrists", that the dismissal of the witness and the fast departure are "in conformity with many other authentic cases," then wonders whether there is some truth in this unverifiable case, "if truth there is?"
[Ref. ar1:] ALBERT ROSALES:
Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in Idaho, at an exact location not given, on December 1968, at night, hearing a commotion in his barn, Lonnie Duggan rushed out and discovered "a strange looking little man, covered with fur like hair" who was drawing blood samples from his horse's flank with a large syringe like implement. The figure was 4 ft tall, had large eyes and a very high, bald forehead, and wore a snug fitting 2-piece suit. Speaking in a mechanical sounding voice, "like a computer," the being said he was from a planet of Tua [Tau] Ceti, and that his people had been visiting earth for a hundred years. Suddenly, appearing alarmed, he told Duggan to hurry back to the house and stay there for a half hour. Duggan did so, and saw a huge glowing object rise from behind the barn and shoot away "like lighting."
Albert Rosales indicates that the source is Saucer News Vol. 16 # 4.

It appears on this website that according to "Wunderkabinet ", a defunkt web page, a rare incident of entities UFOS taken while extracting blood took place in December 1968 when a farmer of Idaho, Lonnie Duggan, heard agitation in his stable and discovered a "small man of strange appearance covered with hairs" who sucked the blood of a horse with a huge syringe. The small man explained that he came from Tau Ceti and that his people had visited the Earth for the last hundred years, then commanded Duggan to return to the farm and to remain half an hour there. Little time afterwards, an enormous shining object rose from behind the stable and rushed by "like a flash."
The author indicates that the source is Albert Rosales.
The story was written by Gray Barker; he was well-known for being used to simply invent stories from scratch to allure the sensational-avid readers of his bulletin "Saucer news."
