On several occasions, by night, from mid-October and towards the beginning of November of 1965, strange objects were seen in the sky and close to the ground in the area of Mogi Guaçu, state of Sao Paulo, Brazil, by different witnesses.
In November, these craft seemed to be in exploration operation on the huge farm complex of industrial chemist Dario Anhaua Filho close to this city, with several observations of landings or near-landings of object.
On November 11, 1965, at 9 p.m., after Dario Filho went downtown for business with the mayor, Mrs. Filho saw a strange light.
Because of the previous sightings, the woman was afraid, but nevertheless went towards the farm's gate, followed of her grandson, and saw the object resting on the ground in a nearby field, with two small luminous humanoid figures standing nearby. One of them started to walk to and fro along the furrows in the field, picking up brushwood and leaves, that he carried in his arms. The other figure stood near the fence and apparently observed the mare on the other side. They appeared to be ignoring the presence of the two observers.
During this time, a truckload of singing and shouting people went by there, and the object moved away. While it moved, one of the little occupants entered in it fast by going upwards in "a tube of green color," which had suddenly appeared next to him.
When the truck was away, the object returned, and the same process of collecting of plants etc, was resumed.
Another car went by, and the object turned its light off and moved away. During this second departure, Mrs. Filho noticed that two similar objects were hovering in the sky.
The object then reappeared and landed again, and one of the little occupants lit a green coming from an object about of the size of a drinking glass, and an explosion was heard. Then, the object and occupants left.
When Dario Filho was back from town, his wife told him about these events, and he decided to that possible next visits should be observed by more people. The next day, he went back to town where he contacted and invited friends, including the bank manager, to come and watch for the possible return of the object and its occupants.
On November 13, 1965, when the craft or a craft returned, he was thus there present to observe it with his wife, his grandson, and the bank manager. The object came after nightfall, and landed within approximately 130 meters of the fence separating the farmyard and the field, or 130 meters of this group of observers.
About that time, the local sheriff and a police clerk who were driving towards Catagua passed by on a road close to the farm and also saw the object hovering before its landing, and they stopped to observe.
The bank manager was so excited when the craft came down that he stumbled and dropped the camera he had brought to take photographs, and he could not find it in the darkness.
Once on the ground, the object focused a beam of brilliant light upwards. This time again, occupants were seen. They were described as about of the size of 7-year-old children seen at a distance of approximately 23 meters. One was wearing a combination, the other chocolate brown trousers and a grey collarless shirt. The third had a flat, square head, and wore what resembled a surgeon's apron. All the three, as well as the craft in which they came, were brilliantly luminous.
They undertook the same tasks as the previous night: to uproot plants and take off leaves and brushwood from bushes.
When the event started, Dario Filho alerted a neighbor farm, and consequently this was also seen by Father Longino Vartbinden, priest in Mogi-Guaçu, and by a troop of guards or police officers who had been called as soon as the object came, and who observed it of a nearby farm.
When the little beings had finished what they were doing, they entered in the object, and it took off at high speed. There were apparently no further visits of the area.
These events were investigated by professor Flavio Pereira, Dr Leo Godoi Otero and Dr Renato Bacelar of Sao Paulo, Brazil, who forwarded the to Dr Olavo T Fontes, representative of the APRO in Rio de Janeiro, who then informed Coral and Jim Lorenzen, APRO heads, who then wrote about it.

Coral Lorenzen describes several UFO sightings taking place in October 1965 and afterwards in Mogi-Guaçu, Brazil.
Around the middle of November that year, a strange object was spotted in the field adjoining the farm near Mogi-Guaçu, owned by Dario Anhaua Filho, a landowner and chemist. Several sightings were made of a landing or nearly landed object, and on the 11th, at 9 p.m., after Mr. Filho had gone into town on business with the mayor, Mrs. Filho saw a strange light.
Because of preceding sightings, the woman was afraid but nevertheless she walked to the farm gate followed by her grandson, and she saw the object sitting on the ground in a nearby field, with two small humanoid figures were standing beside it. One of them began to walk to and fro along the furrows in the field, picking up twigs, branches and leaves, which he carried in his arms. The other figure stood by the fence and seemingly watched the mare on the other side.
During this time, a truckload of shouting and singing people went by, whereupon the object moved away. As it moved one of the "dwarves" entered it quickly up a "green-colored tube," which suddenly had appeared on one side of it. When the truck had gone by, the object came back, and the same procedure of picking up plants, etc., took place again.
Another car passed, and the object switched off its light and moved away. During this second departure Mrs. Filho noticed that two similar objects were hovering in the sky.
The object then reappeared and landed again, and one of the little occupants turned on a green light which issued from an object about the size of a drinking glass, and an explosion was heard. Thereafter the object and the dwarves left.
The third occurrence was on the 13th and involved the bank manager who had been invited out to watch the curious proceedings, Filho, his wife and grandson, who all observed the strange goings-on.
The object came in after dark and landed about 400 feet from the observers and focused a bright beam of light upward. At the same time, the local sheriff and a police clerk, who had been traveling by car to Catagua, which is Senator Auro Moura Andrade's farm came close to the farm, stopped and witnessed the object hovering over the farm prior to its landing.
The bank manager was so excited at seeing the object that he dropped the camera he had brought along to take photographs, and could not find it in the dark.
The beings in this incident were described as about the size of a seven-year-old child seen from about a distance of 70 feet. One was wearing overalls, the other chocolate-colored pants and a gray collarless shirt. The third being had a squarish flat head and was wearing what appeared to be a surgeon's apron. All three, as well as the ship in which they arrived, glowed brightly and were viewed also by Father Longino Vartbinden, priest at Mogi-Guaçu, and by scores of police who had been called as soon as the object came, and observed it from a nearby farm.
The occurrences were investigated by professor Flavio Pereira, and Doctors Leo Godoi Otero and Renato Bacelar of Sao Paulo, Brazil, and turned over to APRO's representative Dr. Olavo T. Fontes of Rio de Janeiro.

The authors indicate for several nights during late October and early November 1965, strange objects were seen in the sky and seemed to be reconnoitering the huge farm complex of industrialist-chemist Dario Anhaua Filho near Mogi-Guacu, Brazil.
In one of the incidents, on November 11, 1965, Mrs. Filho and her grandson watched a lighted object land in an adjacent field and saw small men alight from the craft and walk around the field. The small figures picked up twigs and branches, and appeared to examine a mare which was standing by the fence. They seemed unaware of their observers. Mr. Filho was in town on business and when he returned, his wife told him of the event.
The next day, he went back into town where he contacted and invited friends, including the bank manager, to come and watch for the return of the object and its occupants.
The vigil was rewarded on the night of November 13, 1965: as darkness settled over the countryside, the object came in and landed about 400 feet from the fence separating the yard and the field. At about this time, the local sheriff and a police clerk who had been driving to Catagua, drove by on a highway near the farm and saw the object hovering prior to landing. The bank manager became so excited when the craft came down that he stumbled and dropped his camera and could not find it in the dark.
The beings observed by the Filhos and the bank executive were described as small, about the size of 7-year-old kids. One was wearing overalls, the other chocolate-colored pants and a gray collarless shirt, the third being had a squarish, flat head and was wearing what appeared to be a surgeon's apron. All three, including the ship, glowed brightly.
They set about the tasks of the preceding night: uprooting plants and plucking leaves and twigs from bushes.
When the object first landed, Filho called a neighboring farm and before the little men had departed, some guards and the local parish priest, Longino Vartbinden, arrived at the farm and witnessed the scene in the field. When the little creatures were finished with whatever they were doing, they got into the object which took off at high speed. There was apparently no further visits of the area.

In his catalogue of UFO landings, Jacques Vallée indicates that on November 13, 1965, in Mogi-Guassu [sic], Brazil, Dario Filho, his wife, his grandson, and a bank director saw an object land 100 meters away, flashing a beam of light toward the sky.
Two policemen on the scene also observed the incident.
Near the object were two dwarfs. One of them wore coveralls, the other had a gray shirt and brown trousers. By what seemed an optical effect, a third being with a flat, squarish head, wearing something like a surgeon's apron, was also seen near them. The object and the creatures were very bright.
Vallée indicates that his source is "APRO September, 66."

Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in Mogi Guacu Sao Paolo Brazil, on November 13, 1965, at night, Mr. Dario Anahaua Filho alerted neighbors and associates to the appearance of the objects. On hand this time were the director of the local bank, their priest, Longino Vartbinden, two police officers and, in addition, several neighbors. As darkness approached, an object appeared, hovered briefly, and then landed 100 yards away, focusing a light beam upward. The local sheriff and a police clerk had observed it independently as they drove nearby. The bank manager became so excited at the object's appearance that he dropped his camera and could not find it in the dark. At this time, two beings the size of a 7-year old child were seen at 20 yards distance; one was wearing overalls, the other chocolate colored pants and a gray collarless shirt. A third entity, seen through the mirror-like beam of light, had a square, flat head, and was wearing a surgeon's apron. Both the UFO and the beings were brightly luminous.
Albert Rosales indicates as source Prof Flavio Pereira, Dr Leo Godoi and Dr Renato Bacelar.

What we have there is a series of observations of UFOs including two observations with occupants, by multiple and independent witnesses, having been the subject of an investigation by three ufologists. It is very regrettable that there isn't more information on these most interesting events, which do not seem to have interested the ufological world, while at the same time such observations with multiple and independent witnesses are not frequent.
