Around 1959, a sensationalistic German UFO bulletin told about one Joseph Matiszewski, a mechanic, who in Denmark, on June 19, 1951, in Sonderborg at 12:00, allegedly heard a whistling sound and saw an object land in a meadow.
Approaching within 50 m, he found himself paralyzed and observed that birds had stopped singing and cows seemed unable to move.
Four "handsome men" who had brown skin and wore black shiny suits and translucent helmets emerged from the object.
Apparently, the witness received "a pair of telepathic messages".
Eight objects also emerged from the craft and hovered above it. Other men inside the craft and on its deck appeared to be making repairs, and then the objects flew to about 100 meters of altitude and climbed rapidly out of sight. Only then did the paralysis subside.
The man allegedly met them again on May 18th 1954 and they explained that they came from a planet named Zutorn.

[Ref. jv1:] JACQUES VALLEE:
In his catalogue of UFO landings, Jacques Vallée indicates that on June 19, 1951, at twelve o'clock in Sonderborg, Denmark, Joseph Matiszewski [spelled "Matiszenski" in LDLN], a mechanic, heard a whistling sound and saw an object land in a meadow. Approaching within 50 m, he found himself paralyzed and observed that birds had stopped singing and cows seemed to be similarly un able to move.
From the object emerged four handsome men who had brown skin and wore black shiny suits and translucent helmets. Eight objects also emerged from the craft and hovered above it. Other men inside the craft and on its deck appeared to be making repairs, then the objects flew to about 100 meters altitude and climbed rapidly out of sight. Only then did the paralysis subside.
Vallée indicates that his source is "Nachrichten, May 59"

Gordon Creighton indicates that according to UFO Nachrichten for May 1959, in Sonderborg, in Denmark, on June 19, 1951, Joseph Matiszewsky heard a whistling sound and saw an object landing in a meadow.
He approached within approximately 50 meters of the apparatus, and found himself "paralyzed". Je observed that the birds had stopped singing and that the cows were motionless.
Small beings clad in black and brilliant tight-fitting clothes came out of the apparatus.
Eight small circular objects also came out of the object and are started to her around it.
It was only when all these objects went away and disappeared at the horizon that everything became normal again.
[Ref. js1:] JOHN SCHUESSLER:
John Schuessler indicates that on 1951/06/09, in Denmark, in Sonderborg, a witness approached a landed UFO in a field and was paralyzed. Cows also seemed to be paralyzed and birds did not sing.
The witness saw four humanoids working on the object. Everything returned to normal after the object flew away.
John Schuessler indicates that the source is Official UFO, February 1976.
[Ref. ar1:] ALBERT ROSALES:
Albert Rosales indicates that in Sonderborg, Denmark, on June 19, 1951, at 12:00, Joseph Matiszewski, a mechanic, heard a whistling sound and saw an object in a meadow.
Approaching within 50 meters, he found himself paralyzed and observed that birds had stopped singing and cows seemed to be similarly unable to move.
From the UFO emerged four handsome men who had brown skin and wore black shiny suits and translucent helmets.
8 objects also emerged from the craft and hovered above it.
Other men inside the craft and on its deck appeared to be making repairs, then the objects flew to about 100 meters altitude and climbed rapidly out of sight. Only then did the paralysis subside.
Albert Rosales indicates that the source is Jacques Vallée, in Passport to Magonia, quoting UFO Nachrichten.
[Ref. ww1:] WILLY WEGNER:
In a chapter entitled "Rumfolkene viser sig" of his electronic text "UFO Bogen", Dane ufologist Willy Wegner seems to tell in a detailed manner how this case is typically of the "contactee" type very much in the manner of Adamski.
Unfortunately I do not understand Danish and do not want to try a terrible translation; the address of the web page containing the article is in reference for the readers who might understand it.
The article is illustrated of two photographs, one a portrait of the alleged witness, the other shows him holding a model of flying saucer, very likely of the one he claimed to have seen:
[Ref. jb1:] JEROME BEAU:
Jerome Beau indicates that on June 19, 1951, at 12 hours, in Sonderborg, Denmark, Joseph Matiszewski, mechanic, heard a whistle and saw an object landing in a meadow. Approaching to 50 m, he was paralyzed and observed that the birds stopped singing and that the cows seemed, like him, unable to move.
From the object emerged four men of beautiful appearance, having brown skins and wearing black shining clothes and transparent helmets. 8 objects also emerged from the apparatus and hovered above it. Other beings inside the machine and on a kind of platform seemed to carry out repairs, then the objects rose to approximately 100 m of altitude and were quickly out of sight. Only then, the paralysis of the witness disappeared.
Jérôme Beau indicates that the source is "Nachrichten, May 1959."
[Ref. dj1:] DONALD JOHNSON:
Donald Johnson indicates that on June 19, 1951, In Sonderborg, Denmark, Joseph Matiszewski, a mechanic, heard a whistling sound and saw an object land in a meadow. Approaching within 50 meters, he found himself paralyzed and observed that birds had stopped singing and cows seemed to be similarly unable to move.
From the object emerged four handsome men who had brown skin and wore black shiny suits and translucent helmets. Eight objects also emerged from the craft and hovered above it. Other men inside the craft and on its deck appeared to be making repairs, then the objects flew to about 100 m altitude and climbed rapidly out of sight. Only then did the paralysis subside.
Donald Johnson indicates that the source is Jacques Vallee, Passport to Magonia: A Century of Landings, page 195, citing UFO Nachrichten, May 1959.
[Ref. lg1:] LUIS R. GONZALES MANSO:
Luis R. Gonzalez Manso notes in his FirstHumCat catalogue that in Denmark, on June 19, 1951, in Sonderborg at 12:00, reported only in 1959, Joseph Matiszewski, a mechanic, heard a whistling sound and saw an object land in a meadow.
Approaching within 50 m, he found himself paralyzed and observed that birds had stopped singing and cows seemed to be similarly unable to move.
Four handsome men who had brown skin and wore black shiny suits and translucent helmets emerged from the object.
The witness received a pair of telepathic messages.
Eight objects also emerged from the craft and hovered above it. Other men inside the craft and on its deck appeared to be making repairs, and then the objects flew to about 100 m altitude and climbed rapidly out of sight. Only then did the paralysis subside.
The men allegedly met them again on May 18th 1954 and they explained that came from a planet named Zutorn.
Luis Gonzales indicates that his sources are the MAGONIA Catalogue [Jacques Vallée] case 82, and UFO Nachrichten, #33 for May 1959, page 3, and Willy Wegner, UFOer over Danmark, bind 1, 1946-1964, Sphinx 1989.
Here again as with many other cases, the story was popularized vie Jacques Vallée's famed "Magonia" catalogue. However, he seemed to have ignored or stripped out all the not quite credible aspects: the telepathic communication, the picturesque name of the planet, the second encounter by the alleged witness. The reduced story was then reproduced from catalogue to catalogue, from article to article, with no effort to dig into its depth.
The primary source UFO Nachrichten is not available to me; however, knowing the usually sensationalistic and unverified content of this bulletin, I do not believe that it can be considered a reliable source.
