It looks like UFO crash researcher Len Stringfield published in a 1994 book that in July 1947, "Edith Simpson", a "highly gifted student of the natural sciences" who worked as assistant to Albert Einstein, who apparently "developed a fondness for the very promising and highly intelligent young lady."
We are told that in order to work for Einstein, she had to go through an intensive security check, as "her job automatically put her in a very sensitive position."
We are told she had access to all Einstein's research projects, that he took her with him everywhere, and so she accompanied him when he was invited by the US Government to attend a crisis conference of top scientists and army officials.
They landed at the Carrizozo, New Mexico, airfield, we are told. A "colonel wearing a trench coat picked them up. They then drove in a military vehicle through the desert to then Alamogordo Air Force Base. There they were taken to a strongly guarded old hangar. Some of those specialists and scientists present were allowed closer looks to what appeared to be alien figures that were apparently still alive."
We are told the aliens were "about 5 feet tall, without hair, with big beads and enormous dark eyes, their skin was gray with a slight greenish tinge, but for the most part, their bodies were not exposed, being dressed in tight-fitting silvery suits."
"'Simpson' heard that they had no navels or genitalia. One of the aliens stood out above the rest. It had a bilious green fluid oozing from its nostrils. Bui after exposure to air, the ooze gradually became bluish, suggesting maybe a copper or cobalt base. It might have seeped from a gall bladder like organ. She was not close enough to see any body movement. The wrecked spacecraft was in the same hangar, at the other end, it was sort of concave; its size took up about one fourth of the hangar door."
"They" did not allow the witness to get close enough to the craft to be able to study details. "Armed guards stood everywhere, and specialists who were examining it surrounded it. She could see that it was badly damaged on one side. The aliens present had been recovered from the craft."

[Ref. hs1:] HAROLD A. SKAARUP:
This author says that there is a strong possibility that Albert Einstein was part of the investigation of the Roswell crash, because, "according to his assistant, Edith Simpson, he was not disturbed at all by seeing the actual evidence." Einstein told her that "contact should be a benefit for both or our worlds, and he was interested in UFO propulsion and learning more about our universe.
[Ref. ar1:] ALBERT ROSALES:
Albert Rosales indicates that in July 1947, "Edith Simpson" was a highly gifted student of the natural sciences and had been chosen to work as assistant to Albert Einstein, who apparently developed a fondness for the very promising and highly intelligent young lady.
In order to work for Einstein she had to go through an intensive security check, for her job automatically put her in a very sensitive position.
She had access to all his research projects, he took her with him everywhere and so she accompanied him when he was invited by the US Government to attend a crisis conference of top scientists and army officials.
They landed at a small civilian airport in Carrizozo New Mexico. A colonel wearing a trench coat picked them up. They then drove in a military vehicle through the desert to then Alamogordo Air Force Base. There they were taken to a strongly guarded old hangar. Some of those specialists and scientists present were allowed closer looks to what appeared to be alien figures that were apparently still alive.
They were about 5 feet tall, without hair, with big beads and enormous dark eyes, their skin was gray with a slight greenish tinge, but for the most part, their bodies were not exposed, being dressed in tight-fitting silvery suits.
But "Simpson" heard that they had no navels or genitalia. One of the aliens stood out above the rest. It had a bilious green fluid oozing from its nostrils. But after exposure to air, the ooze gradually became bluish, suggesting maybe a copper or cobalt base. It might have seeped from a gall bladder like organ. She was not close enough to see any body movement. The wrecked spacecraft was in the same hangar, at the other end, it was sort of concave; its size took up about one fourth of the hangar door.
They did not allow the witness to get close enough to the craft to be able to study details. Armed guards stood everywhere, and specialists who were examining it surrounded it. She could see that it was badly damaged on one side. The aliens present had been recovered from the craft.
The source is indicated as "Leonard Stringfield, Philip Mantle, and Michael Hesemann 'Beyond Roswell'.
Leonard H. Stringfield was a ufologist who had long been almost the only one interested in stories of "saucer crashes". Here's why: in 1950, gossip journalist Frank Scully was deceived by two men, Leo Gebauer and Silas Newton, posing as scientists and claiming to have visited several crashed flying saucers and seen the bodies of their occupants. It was false, they were discredited and the "saucer recoveries" topic was also discredited until the 1980s.
Stringfield thought that the matter should nevertheless be checked into, and collected stories from anonymous people, or from people who did not want their name to be published, claimimg all kinds of stories of "crashed saucer recoveries". Stringfield was not stupid and knew such stories could be invented, but the stories he had collected were of course used by sensationalist writers as if they were factual.
Since I do not have the Stringfield book where this particular story came out in 1994, I cannot give a solid assessment. But some things need to be said:
Dr. Anton Anfalov is a Ukrainian ufologist who collected saucer crashes narratives, mainly from Eastern countries, and shared them with Albert Rosales. In doing so, he told me, he never intended to claim that all these reports must be credible. In any case, he is not a direct source for this case, the most direct source being Stringfield's 1994 book.
Michael Hesemann is a German sensation author, and not at all a direct source either.
Albert Einstein was the least likely scientist to be involved in a crashed saucer recovery operation, something some ufologists consider "more sensitive than the Manhattan project" (the American atomic bomb project). Einstein was considered a leftist man, a pacifist, who could betray secrets such as the making of the atomic bomb; he was not involved in the Manhattan project because he was considered unreliable on such a sensitive defense matters. The idea that he was involved in the recovery of an alien spacecraft is therefore extremely unlikely.
In 1946, Einstein wrote an open letter to the United Nations to promote, among other things, a world government. He became head of the "Emergency Committee of Atomic Scientists" whose purpose was to reduce the number of atomic weapons and promote the use of nuclear energy for peaceful rather than military purposes. In 1947 he intensified his pacfist activities for weapon control and for world government.
Everyone should know that Einstein had no security clearance in 1947. He was denied such a clearance in July 1940 because of his pacifist tendencies.
The only known implication of Einstein in the UFO issue known to ufologists was published in the St. Louis Post Dispatch and other newspapers, from an Associated Press report, dated July 30, 1952. It was reported that Einstein wrote a letter on July 23, 1952 to evangelist Louis Gardner in response to Gardner's question about UFOs. Eisntein wrote that "these people have seen something - what it is, I do not do not know it and I'm not curious to know."
In fact, he had talked about flying saucers earlier: he spoke about it the very day of the announcement of the Army's recovery of Roswell's "disk". Of course, after the publication of Kenneth Arnold's report on June 25, 1947, some journalists asked Einstein what he thought of the saucers, because he was considered an authority on all matters. In the Dunkirk Evening Observer newspaper, of dunkirk, New York, on page 1, for July 8, 1947 (copy below), headlined "Einstein silent on theory relative to 'flying saucer'," he replied that he had "absolutely no comment" on the reports of flying saucers, and that he had discovered that "saucers were flying" only because of a phone call from the United Press. (I'm not saying it proves anything one way or another. But, expect if he lied, Einstein did apparently not care about flying saucer reports, and wisely refrained from formulating some theory on this matter - unlike some other scientists who claimed to know what flying saucers were or were not, without having done any real research about it.)
"Edith Simpson" is an alias, a false name used by Stringfield to hide the identity of this person - if it exists - although a source lter wrote it without quotation marks as if it were a real name.
Einstein had no scientist as "assistant" in his scientific work in 1947. He was still collaborating with many other male scientists, but none can be called his "assistant". However, a little research is sufficient to determine who this "Edith Simpson" may have been:
Bruria Kaufman received her Ph.D. from Columbia University in 1947. She was an Israeli researcher associated with the Princeton Institute for Advanced Study from 1948 to 1955, where she worked with John von Neumann and Albert Einstein. She shared many political ideas with Einstein and was certainly someone he trusted. She is closest to what might be called a trustworthy intelligent female scientist "assistant" of Albert Einstein. Therefore, if there was any truth in the story, "Edith Simpson" should be Bruria Kaufman. With this, I show that the "anonymity" of his name is only a joke, any qualified researcher can find in a few minutes the real name of the only possible female scientist who in 1947 "assisted" Einstein. And Bruria Kaufman too would ave known that her "anonimity" would be quite vain; this making the sory, once again, unlikely.
Although officially explained a few hours after its fall in 1947 as the debris of a weather balloon and its radar target, the almost forgotten "Roswell disc" resurfaced after 1978, when former Major Marcel and others began to explain that what had crashed was not really from our world. Of course, whether true or not, these claims opened the door to many subsequent stories and hoaxes, creating a situation in which, were we to believe all the stories, a horde of saucers crashed down all over New Mexico in 1947, many with "bodies", and all "recovered" secretly by the US military. We would have at least a dozen crash sites.
In this case, Albert Rosales told us that debris and extraterrestrials were brought to the Alamogordo base in New Mexico; which differs from all other versions of "The Roswell Incident". With zero other witnesses for this particular place. Of course, the details may be different in Stringfield's report; I will try to buy it.
The "Alamogordo" military base was built in 1942 under the name of "Alamogordo Field Training Station" and soon "Alamogordo Army Air Field". In 1946 and 1947, it was "run by a skeletal team simply as an aircraft refueling station, for emergency landings, etc." It was temporarily inactivated on February 28, 1946, and reactivated in September 1947 (making it an ideal discreet place during this time frame) when the Army Air Force became the US Air Force. It is now Holloman Air Force Base. It is located 6 miles southwest of downtown Alamogordo in Otero County, New Mexico.
