French CE3 book author Julien Gonzalez wrote in 2014 about a report he said he personally received from ufologist Jean-Marc Gillot:
In Portel, Pas-de-Calais, a Sunday afternoon in 1932, Mr. A., about 10 at the time, had just attended the projection of a film patronage and went home at night.
The street, illuminated as by daylight by the moon, seemed deserted, summer was already far away, but it was not cold.
He was living with his sister, but that night she was away and had to turn around to go to her aunt's house. He was walking quietly in the middle of the paved street when soudoud, he thought he saw in front of him, on the sidewalk on the left, a baby who was outside.
"The child" was going slowly and Mr. A thought he was starting to learn to walk. By its size, by far, he would have given him 18 months to 2 years. His movements were a bit clumsy.
The more he came to him, the more questions came to his mind: "How did he go down the steps of his house?" "Can not a child be dressed like that?" (Formerly, children were dressed in nightgowns).
The young witness eventually climbed onto the sidewalk, already 3 or 4 meters from the "baby", advancing in his direction, and soon realized that it could not be a child. He now made him think of a kind of "little diver" whose neck or collar he could not see. No fold was visible. He walked in a jerky, rather flexible way. He seemed stocky, a light silver gray not shiny.
Arrived 2 or 3 steps away from him, he was surprised to see the little character begin to bend over while presenting his head. The young witness extended his hands forward to stop him. Finally, his hands touched his head, reminiscent of an opaque helmet through which he could not see anything.
Under his hands, for a few seconds, he felt a relief that he could not distinguish. There was a rigid surface, several asperities, not very big but not visible.
He did not notice anything behind the back of the strange little character.
Suddenly, the boy shouted, and even today he has no explanation for his sudden fear. "Was this fear natural or was it instilled?" He will never know it, preferring to run around the character without looking back.

6. Portel, Boulogne-sur-Mer, France on 1932 at night, The young witness was returning home late at night along an alleyway when he noticed walking in his direction at about 3-4 meters away a very short humanoid figure. Thinking it was a lost child he attempted to approach it, but was stunned to realize that it was some kind of humanoid wearing a light colored tight-fitting coverall and an opaque helmet that covered its features. The figure was extremely thin, and it had longer than normal arms, as it came to within 3 ft of the witness it suddenly stopped and bends his head down, at the same time stooping his arms and shoulders towards the ground. The figure was completely featureless and was about 3 ft tall. Terrified the witness screamed and ran away from the area. He did not see the humanoid depart. It is regretable that this story's publication is a bit incomplete, for example:
This being said, I find the report really fascinating. This is really the sort of oddity I would expect from an alien encounter. The bumps on the beings' helmet that the witness can feel with the hand, but does not sea, reminds me of the words of Arthur C. Clarke, when he told:
"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."
Just like Papua-New Guinea natives thought the Land Rovers of the first Western explorers must be some hitherto unknown big animals, the witness here first thinks he deals with a baby.
Of course I also keep in mind that there is no evidence in support of this report.
