ALSACAT is my comprehensive catalog of UFO sighting reports in Alsace, the region is the North-East of France, whether they are "explained" or "unexplained".

The ALSACAT catalog is made of case files with a case number, summary, quantitative information (date, location, number of witnesses...), classifications, all sources mentioning the case with their references, a discussion of the case in order to evaluate its causes, and a history of the changes made to the file. We learn that young people who were using a metal detector at "Caesar's Camp" filmed this.

The video is shot in an extremely shaky manner; it shows orange and whitish luminous spots.

Ufo filmed in Wittelsheim in the Haut-Rhin in March 2017

The picture here is an old view, a frozen scene, at Wittelsheim, in the Haut-Rhin.

See the video published online here on March 17, 2017, on the website here. They day of the shooting is not indicated. I will better analyze this video, because all these lights, the camera shake not stopping, seems at first quite confused... :

Discussion:

The video is extremely shaky, as if the person did not know the camera was recording. It is quite likely that the "UFOs" are Chinese lanterns.

In 58 BC, Caesar had decided to stop the invasion of the Germans, and it was thought that a battle had taken place. The opinion most generally accepted for the site of this battle is that it would have been between Cernay and Wittelsheim. This is what is evoked here by "Caesar's Camp" here.
