ALSACAT-2013-07-13-MORSCHWILLER-1
In early March 2014, I found on a "UFO" website a story about an observation of two green moving balls, on July 13, 2013, at 11:15 p.m., in Morschwiller in the Bas-Rhin.
The witness said that with a friend, he went on a hill to watch the fireworks and the starry sky. At one time, the friend pointed out that he distinguished a strange object moving slowly vertically in the sky just above them.
There was a little green ball that at that time suddenly stopped and made a U-turn, then a second ball made a similar move. The sighting lasted 10 minutes.

What was seen: two green balls that move
Description of the facts:
a friend and i are going on a hill: we watch the fireworks and also the starry sly. At one time , my friend tells me he distinguishes a strange object moving slowly (vertically )in the sky right above us . We observe indeed a small green ball ( even a second one), which at this time stopped suddenly and made a u-turn: it was very impressive ! The second ball made a similar displacement .

Nightly on the 12th or 13th or 14th or 15th in July, Alsatian towns celebrate the National Day, and in the last few years, Chinese lanterns have often been launched. Here we are in the countryside, but there is a village almost every three kilometers.
Chinese lanterns are often orange-colored, or rather, were usually orange-colored, but they are now sold in all colors (Picture below). The green color cannot be invoked to exclude Chinese lanterns here.
The wind, when there is wind, push Chinese lanterns. But the wind does not necessarily blow in the same direction at all altitudes, especially when there are hills, as it is the case here.
We would have a first lantern, which rose, we are told, and changed direction. As if after coming high enough it met opposite wind. Then the second ball, we are told, did a similar movement. As if it also rose then also met the opposite wind.
Probable Chinese lanterns.
