Summary:

On January 28, 2012, Christian Macé, who runs a "UFO Paranormal" blog, announced he received an email reporting a "Strange noise or sound in Strasbourg in Alsace on January 15, 2012."

The story said:

"Living in Alsace we heard around 4 a.m. in the night from Tuesday to Wednesday a strange noise that caused the sound of a fire alarm, a strident sound, unique and arrived just before the alarm that has sounded only once, could it have any connection with the facts that occurred in Belgium?"

It is because a UFO (four lights in the sky first immobile and then leaving quickly) had been reported seen in Mons in Belgium (330 kilometers from Strasbourg) the same day but at 9 p.m., that both cases were linked.

Discussion:

The link with the observation in Belgium is obviously more than doubtful.

To linl the 4 a.m. sound in Strasbourg to UFOs is also very doubtful. The sound is said to have triggered an alarm, it may be a car accident or whatever.

Even the location in Strasbourg seems doubious, since the witness only writes: "Living in Alsace..."

Evaluation:
