Situated Place de la Gare, the witness observed a quite intense white light falling steeply to the ground. Its speed was identical to that of a shooting star.

High probability of a meteorite fall.

Discussion:

Map.

The Wilson Boulevard in Strasbourg is pointing to the northeast, precisely to 36.46°.

This "call for witnesses" was also copied on these two websites:

As for the observation, with the few available data, it is very appealing to think that it was indeed just a shooting star.

Evaluation:

Probable shooting star.
