The Alsatian ufology association SPICA published on December 5, 2006, a call to witnesses, about a phenomenon seen on Friday, December 1, 2006, between 10:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.:
A person in the railway station square in Strasbourg saw "a white light quite intense; which was falling straight down," at a speed comparable to that of a shooting star, in the direction of the Wilson Boulevard in the northeast.

The phenomenon was seen on Friday, December 1, 2006, between 10:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. - the person was on the railway station square in Strasbourg (67) and saw the phenomenon in the direction of the Wilson Boulevard approximately to the North East - it was a white light, quite bright; which was falling straight down. Its speed was about the same as a shooting star.

Situated Place de la Gare, the witness observed a quite intense white light falling steeply to the ground. Its speed was identical to that of a shooting star.

The Wilson Boulevard in Strasbourg is pointing to the northeast, precisely to 36.46°.
