ALSACAT-2005-11-26-INNENHEIM-1
On the web forum of the Alsatian ufology association SPICA, somebody reported on November 30, 2005, that on November 26, 2005, at about 05:30 p.m., in a car located in Innenheim and heading to Sélestat, they observed a light "of spherical type", of uniform brightness on both edges and center, "pretty impressive in its size", a size given as "much bigger than a plane's light."
It moved from west to east at quite a fast speed before stabilizing in a split second, remaining motionless for the duration of their trip, about 15 or 20 minutes. They had not been able to observe its disappearance
This big bright spot, not blinking, had a constant intensity from the beginning to the end of the observation. What had surprised the witness most was the stopping of this dot in the sky.

By car, being in Innenheim and going towards Colmar, we observed at about 05:30 p.m. on November 26, 2005 a spherical type of light, regular (uniform brightness, both on the contours and at the center) pretty impressive in size (much bigger than a plane light) move from west to east at a speed fast enough before stabilizing in a fraction of a second, for a time, the time of this trip (about 15-20 minutes). This big bright spot, not blinking, of regular intensity from beginning to end of the observation. What surprised me the most is the stopping of this dot in the sky. We did not observe its disappearance

From the positions data, we understand that these people were likely to drive from Strasbourg to Sélestat, probably on the A35, probably being at the ring road near Innenhein at the start of the observation.
During the period of observation, they were able to travel 20 to 30 km from Innenheim. After 27 km indeed, we arrive in Sélestat, bypassed by the highway.
In Innenheim, they were some 5 km from the runway of the Enztheim airport. The runway id behind them, almost in line with the highway. But the length and direction of theit trip eliminates almost certainly a plane in landing approach.
Generally, the highway heads to 200°. And at this time, there, Venus was visible in the sky at a 207° azimuth precisely and a low elevation of 11°, a position quite "classic" for a misinterpretation.
It it to be noted that on this highway, we have several turns, that could explain the phase with an illusion of motion and then the motionless phase (perhaps after Barr on the turn tothe left and right and then the almost straight line, which is exactly opposite Venus.)
Of course, it could have been something else, I have no "scientific proof" that it was Venus. However, the witnesses should not have missed Venus when it was right in front of them for about twenty kilometers. And they did not report both Venus and the light that puzzled them. So...
Probably Venus.
