Summary:

In a listing of UFO sighting reports in the Haut-Rhin on their website, the Alsatian ufology association SPICA noted that on Saturday, August 6, 2005, at 11:30 p.m., in Ittenheim, a "ball, balloon or melon (3D)" of blue color was seen; it remained unidentified but SPICA issues the "strong hypothesis" that it was a meteor.

The information is very sparse. I however have another testimony of the meteor type, matching the color, place, date and hour.
