ALSACAT is my comprehensive catalog of UFO sighting reports in Alsace, the region is the North-East of France, whether they are "explained" or "unexplained".

Summary:

In its magazine Phenomena #20 of March / April 1994, the ufology group "SOS OVNI" reported that on March 11, 1994, a person had contacted them to report an observation made on the March 8, 1994, between 10:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

The magazine indicated that the phenomenon, seen in the Hoenheim region, was in the form of a "rugby ball" "about 4 to 5 m in diameter", with sharp contours, which was observed for about fifteen minutes, which was opaque in the sense that nothing could be seen through. It appeared and disappeared without any regularity under a slight cloudy layer.

The magazine indicated there was also a second witness according to their colleagues in the East who immediately opened an investigation.

5m diameter disc clearly seen. It appeared and vanished at variable intervals under clouds.

An unusual object was sighted, that had unconventional appearance and performance. One disc, about 20 feet across, was observed in a residential area for over 15 minutes.

Discussion:

The [uda1] source is a catalog on the web that essentially re-published the old "UFOCAT" catalog. It must be understood that the information therein is "schematically" given. For example, when the primary source says an observation took place "in the evening", UFOCAT recorded it as "10:00 p.m.".
