René, of Strasbourg, told to the Swiss ufology group GREPI what he titled a "Dream", which occurred on the night of July 4 to 5, 1978.
He said that outside on the lawn, at the north corner of his house, he was staring at a disc in the sky around noon.
The disc was quite high and looked like the sun, but the real sun was south at that time, whereas this UFO was in the north. It had a greenish-yellow color, a bit like pearl. The other people in the street also saw it. Its light was different from that of the sun, it was like a neon lit in daylight and the warmth that emanated from it was stronger than that of the sun in ordinary times.
The disc had no opening and was really in front of his lawn, he said. The radiant face really situated opposite his body, and he had the impression that a camera was filming him.
Several people were there to observe this phenomenon when the craft began to oscillate, and therefore, the light and warmth disappeared. Then it came in the direction of the people, René saying it was flying 40 meters above the street adjacent to his street, in a northeast / southwest direction.
The luminous and radiating disc was above the flying saucer and below the disk, there was a big white cabin with people inside, with the same faces than human beings faces.
Peering inside the cabin, he saw one of them who was manipulating his members in front of the others who were seated on folding seats, and he was seeing him from the back. He said that behind this group of aliens, on a platform, he saw "an older man with gray hair and temples" who gave him the impression of being the leader.
The UFO passed in the street and then disappeared.
Its upper plate remained "for so long" at a fixed place in the sky, radiating light to the people, and was revealed to him "today 15 December 1989, having seen last night on the first French television channel, the end of the report on the FUTURE in which a scientist had been researching the UFO phenomenon and wrote a book published by Laffont and whose title is OTHER DIMENSIONS, in short, the author said that an organic change occurred in the people who were submitted to the irradiation of these cosmic ships... for example the sleep, I sleep very long myself, and I see things that surpass our understanding or rational logic that as hermetic philosopher and I do not want can reveal to others fearing I would be misunderstood..."

Outside on the lawn grass, north corner of our house, I was visually staring at a disc in the sky. It was around noon and the latter, quite high, looked like the sun... (at that time the real sun was in the south and this UFO was in the north). It had a greenish-yellow color, a little pearly. Other people in the street saw it too. The light was different from that of the sun, it was like a neon lit in daylight and warmth that emanated from it was stronger than that of the sun in ordinary times.
This disc - without any opening - was really in front of my lawn, its radiant face really located about my body; I had a feeling that a camera was filming me... We were there several people observing this phenomenon when the craft (UFO) began to oscillate, and thereby, the light and heat disappeared, and then it came towards us... I saw it flying 40 meters above the street adjacent to ours (northeast / southwest direction).
The luminous disc / radiant was above the flying saucer and below the disk was a big white cabin where people, of same physiognomy than human beings were inside. Peering inside the cabin, I saw one of them who manipulated his members before the others, sitting on folding seats, I saw more in the back behind this group of aliens, on a platform, I saw an older gentleman with gray hair and temples who gave me the impression of being the leader.

But the enigmatic fact that its top plate remained so long at a fixed point in the sky, radiating our light, revealed to me today December 15, 1989, having seen last night on the first French television channel, the end of the show about the FUTURE in which a scientist has been researching the UFO phenomenon and wrote a book, published by Laffont editors and whose title is OTHER DIMENSIONS, in short, the author said that an organic change occurred in people who have undergone irradiation of these spaceships... for exmaple the sleep; I do sleep a very long time, and I SEE things that surpass our understanding or rational logic that as a hermetic philosopher I do not want to reveal and cannot reveal to others since it would not be understood...

How are we supposed to believe in any reality of this when story titled "Dream"?
It has many attributes of a dream: the "saucer" seen under the disc, coming up in the story out of thin air, the "people" who observe all this without any reported communication or reported reaction, the occupants on "jump seats" and the man with the gray temples...
All this is indeed quite "hermetic"...
The book quoted as "The Other Dimensions" is "Other Dimensions" whose author is ufologist Jacques Vallee. The casuistry it presented is quite likely to have influenced this story.
