ALSACAT is my comprehensive catalog of UFO sighting reports in Alsace, the region is the North-East of France, whether they are "explained" or "unexplained".

In a listing of UFO sighting reports in the Haut-Rhin on their website, the Alsatian ufology association SPICA noted around 2015 that on Saturday, December 8, 1973, in Oberhausbergen, a "luminous spot" was observed, and remained unidentified due to lack of information.

Discussion:

I do not exclude, given the lack of information and lack of source, that this would be in fact the August 8, 1973 case in Oberhausbergen, as it is missing from the [spa1] list.
