ACUFO:

ACUFO is my comprehensive catalogue of cases of encounters between aircraft and UFOs, whether they are “explained” or “unexplained”.

The ACUFO catalogue is made of case files with a case number, summary, quantitative information (date, location, number of witnesses...), classifications, all sources mentioning the case with their references, a discussion of the case in order to evaluate its causes, and a history of the changes made to the file.

Case number:

ACUFO-1931-00-00-ENGLAND-1

Summary:

Jimmy Guieu, Science Fiction author, had also become a pioneer of ufology in France in the early 1950s. In his 1954 book “Flying Saucers Come from Another World”, he reported that in 1931, “an English pilot reported seeing a strange 'object' in the sky.”

Guieu commented that at that time, this isolated phenomenon did not attract public attention.

Guieu gave no source, no location, no precise date, no time, nor any other information, and did not specify whether the “English” pilot had seen the object from a plane or from the ground.

Undoubtedly because of this, the case did not retain attention of ufologists subsequently either.
