In 1982, the ufology group 5255 noted an observation of September or October 1954 near Braucourt, in the Haute-Marne.
As Mr. and Mrs. Pionnier closed the shutters of their home, a forest house at the Carrefour de Beaulieu - Der, they noticed a luminous ball that went from white to red while losing or tripling intensity. After 15 minutes of hovering, it died suddenly in the middle of the starry sky.

- F /99/ 52 54 09 00 (01):
Near BRAUCOURT, in September or October 1954 - While closing the shutters of their home (forest house: Carrefour Beaulieu / Der), Mr. and Mrs. PIONNIER noticed a luminous ball that went from white to red while losing or tripling intensity. After 15 minutes of hovering, it suddenly goes out in the middle of the starry sky.
Braucourt was later regrouped, as Eclaron-Braucourt-Sainte-Livière.
The observation might have been an astronomical misinterpretation, but without a date, an hour, and a direction, it will not be demonstrable.
