A catalog compiled from data of Jean Giraud and Jean Gérard Dohmen, in the ufology magazine INFO-OVNI, in 1975, indicates that in October 1954 in Crocq in the Creuse department, Mr. H. Roubinet was going to Saint-Oradoux-près-Crocq, when he saw at an altitude of about 1000 meters a huge object in the shape of a cigar, slowly turning on itself, emitting a light passing from red to orange color.
12 minutes later, the cigar took altitude and disappeared in a few seconds.
The catalogue indicates that this come from the newspaper Le Courrier for October 21, 1954.
