Reference for this case: 4-Oct-54-Calanhel.
Please cite this reference in any correspondence with me regarding this case.

Summary:

In his 1958 book on the 1954 French wave, the pioneering ufologist Aimé Michel reported without indicating a source that on October 4, 1954, at 2 a.m. in Calanhel, the two teachers of the village, Mr. Treussard and Mr. Le Moal, went outside to the school yard after spending the Sunday night chatting.

Looking at the sky, they saw a luminous object moving in the north to south direction. No sooner had they seen this first object, that they saw a second, then a third object, and finally seven objects, which followed in a moment the same trajectory.

The magazine cites a few regional case, such as:

"Calanhel, October 4, 1954, at 02:00."

"The two teachers of the village, leave in the schoolyard after having spent the evening of Sunday to chatter. Looking at the sky, they see a luminous object moving in the direction from the north towards the south. Hardly had they seen this first object, that it is followed by a second, then a third, and up to seven objects finally; which follow in one moment the same trajectory."
