In the 1990's, on his Web UFO bulletin UFO Roundup, the American Joseph Trainor indicated that in Saint Brisson in the department of the Nièvre, on the uncertain date of October 2, 1954, an object of oval shape, flying at an astonishing speed, was at the level of the weather station. It seemed to be between 5000 and 6000 meters.

Joseph Trainor specifies that the date is uncertain.

Luc Chastan indicates in his database that in the Nièvres [sic] in St Brisson on October 2, 1954, at an unknown, "an object of oval form, flying at an astonishing speed was seen on the level of the weather station. It seemed to be between 5000 and 6000 meters (uncertain date)".
