The ufology magazine Ouranos of the 3rd quarter of 1973, wrote in a catalog of observations in the Allier department that according to the newspaper La Montagne, Aurillac issue for November 5, 1954, there was an observation on October 28 or November 4, 1954, in Vallon-en-Sully at 9 p.m.:
"Mrs. Aimee Venuat living in La Faix saw a round craft on Thursday night followed by a light trail that crossed the sky at high speed and disappeared towards the south."

Mrs. Venuat saw a craft of round shape heading towards the S, followed by a luminous trail.

Mrs. Aimee Venuat living in La Faix saw a round craft on Thursday night followed by a light trail that crossed the sky at high speed and disappeared towards the south. The fact could have been as well on 11/04/1954 (La Montagne-Aurilac [sic] of 11/05/1954).

The witness living at La Faix saw a round machine followed by a lum. trail that disappeared to the S. at a brisk pace (Centre-Matin or 05/11/54).
Obvious description of a meteor.
