Two foreign ufology web databases from the 2000s indicate an observation on October 27, 1954, in Pierres-Plates, France.
One of the sources indicates that it was at 06:15 p.m. and that the object certainly had an ordinary explanation.
[Ref. uda1:] "UFODNA" WEBSITE:
The website indicates that on 27 October 1954 at 18:15 in Pierres Plates, France, "An unidentified object was sighted, but with appearance and behavior that most likely would have a conventional explanation. One object was observed by several witnesses."
The source is indicated as Vallee, Jacques, Computerized Catalog (N = 3073).

This database recorded this case twice:
Case Nr. | New case Nr. | Investigator | Date of observation | Zip | Place of observation | Country of observation | Hour of observation | Classification | Comments | Identification |

The place is by no means certainly located in Morbihan; I simply found that the most notable "Pierres-Plates" is the megalithic monument of Pierres-Plates in the Morbihan near Locmariaquer.
[ubk1] classes the case as a "Nocturnal Light", but at that time, date and place, it is still daylight.
The cause of the report was likely a meteor.
