According to recent sources, a CIA document noted that on April 26, 1954, in Bayonne, France, "a cigar-shaped object was observed."
This may be the case in Sare that same day, which has little strangeness and in any case very poor information.
[Ref. uda1:] "UFODNA" WEBSITE:
The website indicates that on 26 April 1954 in Bayonne, France, "A cigar-shaped object was observed. One cigar-shaped object was observed."
The source is indicated as "Hall, Richard H., UFO Reports from the Files of the CIA, Fund for UFO Research, Washington".
It was probably a meteor.
This is probably the case of Sare that day, changed to Bayonne because it was reported from Bayonne by the Press.
