A US website indicated in the 2000's that according to ufologist Jacques Vallée's computerized catalog, on October 23, 1954, at 03:00 p.m., on the National Road N113, near Nimes, "An unidentified object was sighted, but with appearance and behavior that most likely would have a conventional explanation. One object was observed by two witnesses for 20 minutes."
By 2016, a German UFO website noted the same sighting but dropped the source and the mention that the object would probably have a conventional explanation.
