A regional catalog published in a special issue of the magazine INFO-OVNI in the 1970s indicated that on October 19, 1954, at 08:45 p.m., in Domérat, one Mr. Méjoux, presented as more or less simple minded, had seen a white trail preceded by a green shorter and wider trail cross the sky, according to the newspaper Centre-Matin for October 21, 1954.
The observation was also mentioned in Lumières Dans La Nuit for October 1973 but with "Meloux" instead of "Méjoux" as witness name.
