Summary:

A tireless explorer of the press in search of UFO and related affairs, ufologist Michel Jeantheau published in his 1999 book "Le Problème de la Vie Extraterrestre" a case from the sports section, page 7, of the regional newspaper Le Populaire du Centre, of Limoges, for October 20, 1954.

The author of the article was their chronicler who attended the soccer game between Brive-la Gaillarde and Thiers, which took place in Brives-la-Gaillarde on October 17, 1954.

He said that as the first half of the match ended, in general dismay for the Brives team, the eyes of the spectators suddenly looked up to the sky. The crowd was saying, "Look, flying saucers".

But the sports chronicle says:

"I confess that despite an obvious good will, I saw nothing in the sky."

FLYING SAUCERS

As the first half of the Brive-Thiers match ended, in general dismay, the eyes of the spectators suddenly pointed to the sky. "Look, said the crowd. Flying saucers".

I confess that despite an obvious good will, I did not see anything in the sky. On the other hand, on the ground, as if an aerolite had fallen, we witnessed, death in the soul, the fall of a star...
