Summary:

In 1997, ufologist Michel Jeantheau told that while browsing his documentation to check the cases dated September 24, 1954, that presumedly formed an line with Bayonne and Vichy as reference places, Michel Jeantheau did not discover anything on this date in Besançon, as opposed to what Jacques Vallée listed, but he discovered among others an observation in Besançon by two employees who witnessed a phenomenon described as "two pink oval plates" on September 16, 1954.

Unfortunately Michel Jeanthau gave no further information, and indicated no source.
