Here is an observation made on Thursday, October 27, 2005, by myself and my wife if that can be useful to you and also to tell me if other people would have also seen the same thing:

It was 07:05 p.m. (the sun was lgone but it was still daylight no cloud and no wind) on Thursday, October 27, 2005 we were in the car at the entry of the community of Marnoz in the Jura (we came from Saline les Bains) when far in front of us (approximately 1 km) in the sky we saw what we thought was an airliner in approach as if it wanted to land.

Flash fires red on the left red and white on the right being at approximately 250 kms from the next airport in this direction I said to myself that it was in difficulty. Two cars followed us and I could not stop me immediately. At the time when I pulled up, "the plane" passed overhead slightly on the left and there, surprise, no noise and no wings but a giant tube which moved "sideways". We went out of the vehicle to see it continuing its travel (100 kms) without any noise. At the two ends, a flashing white light. The size was I think of approximately 30 m length for 3 m in diameter and of gray color. My wife saw just before it passed us that in the center of the tube there was a red light. Its direction was from south east towards the north east of the entry of Marnoz, it moved towards Mount Poupet.

Here is this observation I would add but I am not sure that there was also at the two ends of the tube a structure in the shape of a cross like those at the back of the planes.

Could you tell me if we mights have confused this machine with an existing machine.
