The article below was published in the daily newspaper Le Midi Libre, France, on March 29, 1995.
In Buisson, a peaceful village a few kilometers from Marvejols, about ten residents were visited one beautiful starry night by very strange beings. Among them, a teacher from our high school agreed to describe what really happened.
That night, in the sky, an oval-shaped object with a glowing sphere that shone in all directions was moving back and forth over a distance of about one kilometer. This object had red lights, making it even more terrifying.
UFO or not UFO? That is the question. Could it have been a military aircraft or a tractor left idling in a field with its lights on?
Impossible. The next day, in the middle of a meadow, a circular mark was discovered. At that spot, the grass was scorched, seemingly covered with some kind of pigment. Yet, it appeared that the object had barely touched the ground, as the grass was not trampled.
This was certainly not an ordinary phenomenon, as a horde of gendarmes and scientists arrived to investigate. They conducted numerous examinations but remained skeptical about the existence of UFOs.
By the way, did you know that men believe in extraterrestrials more than women do? It’s a matter of technology, apparently! Some experts claim they will only believe in extraterrestrial phenomena when little green men come knocking at their door.
Well, scientists might soon get their proof—according to Nostradamus, in August 1998, a tourist with a camera will come to the aid of beings from the sky. These creatures will be injured, and once healed, they will leave. But the footage taken by this tourist will change public opinion about the existence of extraterrestrials.
Even without this proof, some people are obsessed with UFOs. In fact, the teacher who witnessed the UFO in Buisson was later bombarded with phone calls from a flying saucer enthusiast.
And you? Do you need to wait until August 1998 to believe?
