A UFO in the sky of the Vaucluse

AVIGNON (C.P.) -- And here we are talking about UFOs again. Last night, two young people from Avignon saw, if not a flying saucer, at least a flying object that was certainly not an airplane.

It was 7 p.m. 30, François, 17 and a half years old, and Michel, 19 years old, both housed at the Foyer du Jeune Travailleur de Champfleury in Avignon, were leaving the establishment when their gaze was suddenly drawn to a strong glow in the sky, heading north.

"It was like two very bright headlights flashing" they say.

"We observed it for a good quarter of an hour and the object did not move, then it headed south, descending and leaving behind a yellowish trail."

As they were heading towards our agency, the two young people again saw towards the south, but low on the horizon, an orange ball the size of a small balloon.

UFO? Flying saucer? or weather balloon?

Perhaps other people were able to make identical observations last night.

Note: noctilucent cloud, then the planet Mars?
