UFOs in the daily Press:

CE3 of Arc-sous-cicon, France, 1967:

The article below was published in the daily newspaper L'Aurore, Paris, France, on July 30, 1967.

JOELLE (15 YEARS OLD):

"I SAW BEINGS FROM ANOTHER PLANET"

FOR 24 hours, a 15-year-old girl, Joëlle Ravier, has been adamant about having seen beings from another planet, while she was out cycling on Tuesday evening near Arcs-sous-Cicon (Doubs). It was in vain that the villagers first, then the police, tried to reason with her, trying to give credence to the theory of hallucination in her mind. Joëlle refuses to budge: she saw the Martians! and what's more, described it in great detail.

- I was walking when I saw a little man barely bigger than a four-year-old child, dressed entirely in black and who was threatening me. But I was in the company of comrades younger than me. I ran away, but I still had time to see a little dwarf dressed in a dark uniform, with arms and legs of reduced dimensions; he left at full speed towards the forest."

Since then, Arc-sur-Cicon [sic] has been divided into two sides: those who believe in it and those who don't!
