Louiseville (PC). -- It was with emotion that Yves Angers, a citizen of Saint-Samuel-de-Horton, agreed to tell the media about the strange experience he had on October 15 while he was driving on Highway 40 East, near Louiseville.
On Tuesday evening, around 11:30 p.m., Mr. Angers was traveling with his partner, Maryse Gervais, when they saw strange lights in the sky, to the right of the highway. Ms. Gervais did not see any shape, only lights: a blue one, a red one and a white one. At first, she thought it was a plane or a helicopter. Yves said he saw a cylindrical object, shaped like a hat without the edges. The bottom of the object was green-blue, he said, while the top was a red-orange brighter than the taillights of a car braking in the dark. His partner then pointed out to him that the object, which was stationary, had no wings. The couple continued on their way and discovered two other objects a little further away, to the east. These appeared to be one on top of the other, near the viaduct leading to Yamachiche.
The lower object seemed to oscillate while the one above, motionless, gave off an intense white light. As they approached the two objects, a car ventured onto the ramp heading towards Yamachiche. "I thought this guy was going into the lion's den. But what really scared me was when one of the objects stared at us in the car. It sent us a beam of light. It wasn't blinding, but it lit up," says Mr. Angers.
"Maryse started screaming," he continues. "She grabbed my arm and hid her head in my coat. She said: They're going to take us!"
According to Mr. Angers, that's when the object did a 360 degree turn... and the light went out...
