UFOs in Canada, 1998:

The article below was published in the daily newspaper Journal de Montréal, Quebec, Canada, on September 5, 1998.

A Quebecer claims to have a piece of a flying saucer

Recently, another Quebec investigator, Christian R. Page, who specializes in unexplained things, met a Montrealer who claims to have a piece of a flying saucer.

The object is about 2 cm by 2 cm and looks like a piece of silvery carbon. "It looks like a small pebble covered in aluminum paint," the investigator said.

"At first glance, the object does not appear to be made of metal. With the tip of a penknife, I scratched the surface. The object does not appear to be painted or covered with anything. When handling it, I noticed that, on one of its faces, it has 5 or 6 small holes, as if it had been pricked with a needle or by a very sharp object."

According to the story of its owner, the object came from a flying saucer that crashed in New Mexico in the 1940s but has no connection with the Roswell crash. This object was apparently given to him a few months ago by a certain Dr. Wolf, with a nebulous past, who claims to have training in neurology and theoretical physics and who claims to have worked for the American secret services.

"In 1996, he published a book recounting the circumstances of his hiring by MJ-12, a secret group responsible for investigating the possible presence of extraterrestrials on Earth and who allegedly got their hands on debris recovered by the army."

By a combination of circumstances, the Montrealer and Dr. Wolf met recently. "For now, it's hard for me to believe this story about a piece of flying saucer. First, we have no report on the nature of the object and, second, its origin seems highly questionable. Over the past 20 years, a lot of people have given me objects that they said were of extraterrestrial origin. Unfortunately, these turned out to be very ordinary artifacts," Christian admitted.

Theories

Over the years, we have often been treated to all sorts of theories, such as the so-called analysis of a humanoid that came from the sky, the Roswell affair.

As for the owner of this piece of flying saucer, himself an engineer; he plans to submit it to a more exhaustive investigation soon. "Until then, the case is nothing more than another anecdote to add to the UFO file," concludes Christian Page.
