A Normandy doctor reported seeing a "UFO" land twice in a field near the small town of Houetteville. According to the witness, the phenomenon occurred the first time on the night of August 6-7, then on the night of August 13-14. It is said to have taken place on the banks of the Iton River not far from the castle of Houetteville. The police officers in charge of the investigation, who found unusual traces on the ground, took samples for analysis.
