An unidentified flying object located in the Isère
The National Space Studies Center [Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales] (CNES), through its Service of Expertise of Atmospheric Re-entries Phenomena [Service d'Expertise des Phénomènes de Rentrées Atmosphériques] (SEPRA, of the sub-office Exploitation and Operational Systems) made an intervention on Tuesday, September 8, 1998, upon a call by the Gendarmerie in Voreppe (Isère) following the observation of an unidentified phenomenon in the sky of this city, recorded with the help of a video-camera by one of the witnesses on Sunday, September 6, 1998.
Note: The Voreppe object was later identified by SEPRA as a balloon with an misleading unusual shape.
