A series of four photographs of a disk-shaped object apparently flying in the sky was physically analyzed. Certain details led us to develop a mathematical model of the supposed trajectory. The model was validated by measurements on the photographs, which demonstrated that the disk was distant from the camera, flying along a straight and horizontal trajectory, and was not a fabrication.
Pierre Guérin, who died in 2000, was an atrophysicist who made the UFO phenomenon one of his research topics. From the 1950's on, Pierre Guérin had conducted his astrophysicist career at the Institute of Astrophysics at the CNRS in Paris.

In 2016, an in-depzh study of the case was made by a group of ufologists including Xavier PASSOT of GEIPAN and CNEGU members.
The study establishe in a sophisticated approach that the "UFO" must have measured around 15 cm, and gives a sensible explanation to the apparent consistent "trajectoiy", hard to explain otherwise such as with a frisbee for exemple: that of a balltrap; which can be shot several times from a fixed base and thus can follow a quite identical trajectory at each photograph.
