MARCH 22, 1979, SHEPPEY ISLAND, KENT, U-K., A MAN:
Brief summary of the event and follow-up:
In one of their "mysteries" book, writers Janet and Colin Bord apparently report that in the Island of Sheppey, Kent, U-K., on March 22, 1979, at 10:30 p.m., a motorist driving along Sheppey Way spotted a stocky, silver suited figure loping down an embankment on the side of the road.
Its suit and helmet were all in one piece and it was wearing a visor at eye level.
Other motorists also spotted the figure, and earlier in the evening a couple had seen a red revolving light over the area.

The website indicates that in March 1978, in Sheppy, U-K., there was a "close encounter with a an unidentified craft and its occupants. An unidentified object at close range and its occupants were observed by several witnesses."
The source is indicated as "Aerial Phenomena Research Organization, APRO Bulletin, APRO, Tucson."
[As the APRO bulletin was not published after 1973, this source is obviously a mistake.]
Points to consider:
With so little information, not much can be said except that:
The "entity"'s only reported strangeness appears to be the "silver" colour of the outfit. Firemen for example can use silver-coloured outfits. Loping down an embankbemt is not strange.
The night certainly did not favor a good sight.
No real description of the "entity" is given, neither of its outfit. All that is said is the color of the outfit.
No distance is given.
No duration is given. It is possible that it was a very short duration with a witness driving by at fast speed.
No UFO is seen, a "revolving red light" may have nothing to do with this, and this UFO report lacks any useful data. It is even possible that the "revolving red light" indicates a firefighting vehicle.
If one considers also the List of issues below, one may share my view that nothing really strange is guaranteed to have happened there, maybe the witness just briefly saw a man in unusual silver outfit.
