Brief summary of the event and follow-up:

About 2010, a UFO web catalogue says that on July 23, 1978, at 01:00, near Evanston on the I-80, Wyoming, USA, a UFO incident involving two housewives aged about 30 took place, and was explained as "Psychological."

"Gravity effects" were mentioned, "Telepathic phenomena" are said to have occurred. The incident is said to have lasted "six hours."

It is said the source is David Webb in his HUMCAT catalogue, and the "International UFO Reporter", CUFOS's ufology magazine.

Another web catalogue gives only the date and the place.

I have to say that this story may be a vers stripped down version of the Mickie Eckert and Kathy Echard affair.

The website indicates that on July 23, 1978, at 01:00, in Evanston on the I-80, Wyoming, USA, there was a "Housewives incident" which was explained as "Psychological."

The web site adds: "Gravity effect An object was observed. Gravity effects were noted. Telepathic phenomena were said to have occurred. One object was observed by two female witnesses, typical age 30, on a highway for six hours."

The sources are indicated as Webb, David, HUMCAT: Catalogue of Humanoid Reports; International UFO Reporter, International UFO Reporter, CUFOS.

Points to consider:

The lack of data does not make it possible to comment the case.

However, it is quite probable that this incident is actually a stripped down version of the case of Mickie Eckert and Kathy Echard. This is what I realized when sriting the file of this latter case, and this means that the explanation "Pschychological" I initially proposed is likely to be right on target.
