French writer Robert charroux claimed in his 1971 book "Le Livre des Mondes Oubliés" that in August 1959, in the USSR, not far from a village of Georgia which name is not given, a UFO allegedly have exploded under the eyes of a 43 year old farmer named Vassili Doubichev. No debris were found except for a "dead monster".
One Dr. Fiodor Pétrov allegedly stated that the remains of the creature were not composed of carbon but of silica.
