ACUFO:

ACUFO is my comprehensive catalog of cases of encounters between aircraft and UFOs, whether they are “explained” or “unexplained”.

The ACUFO catalog is made of case files with a case number, summary, quantitative information (date, location, number of witnesses...), classifications, all sources mentioning the case with their references, a discussion of the case in order to evaluate its causes, and a history of the changes made to the file.

1945/English Channel/Lore-Deneault

An object at 2,000 ft. altitude rose, fell, swung off, and traveled at a high speed.

Aircraft information:

No information on the plane involved, if there was one, is known to me.

Discussion:

Map.

“Lore-Deneault”, given as a source by Dr. Winkler, refers to ufologists Gordon I. I. Lore Jr. and Harold H. Deneault, Jr.

They published the 1968 book "Mysteries of the Skies - UFOs in perspective". But this report is not in there.

I tried to find it in some article by these ufologists, but I failed so far.

Evaluation:

Totally insufficient information.
