LA ROCHELLE, October 21 (report from "France-Soir"). -- A resident of Pons (Charente-Maritime) saw, about four kilometers from the town, a flying egg about five to six meters in diameter, hover and then land near the road. He then saw two little men, approximately 1.25 meters tall, who got out of the craft. But, as if seized with fear, the "Martians" got back into their craft and disappeared vertically, leaving behind a red trail.
IN DOMPIERRE-SUR-MER (Charente-Maritime), Mrs. widow Renaud saw, around 10 p.m., a luminous sausage-shaped object. In the same département, in Tonnay, Mr. Michel Couteau saw a flying cigar projecting from its front a flame similar to that of a blowtorch.
A SAUCER THE SIZE OF A 4CV is said to have landed near the village of Jean Mermoz, in Oran (Algeria). On the upper part of the craft there was a lighted dome. Powerful headlights swept across the plain.

The information is totally insufficient; the "luminous sausage" could have been a meteor, for example. But the date is missing...
