A USA web catalog listing UFO sightings indicated in the 2000s that on June 4, 1954, at 06:30 p.m., between Sanary and Ollioules, "An unidentified object was sighted, but with appearance and behavior that most likely would have a conventional explanation. One object, about 2 feet across, was observed by one witness."
The source was said to be the computerized catalog of Jacques Vallée.
