Summary:

In 1982, the local ufology group A.D.R.U.P., in Dijon, published a catalog of all flying saucer sighting reports published in the daily newspaper Le Bien Public of Dijon.

It was learned that the newspaper had published on October 22, 1954, that on Wednesday, October 20, at 07:30 p.m., a resident of Bezouotte in the Côte-d'Or, "worthy of faith, saw, for 7 to 8 seconds, in the starry sky, a luminous orange-white disc that moved northeast - southwest, at high speed and silently. This disk which was 20 or 30 times larger than a shooting star or a "meteor" is probably the a phenomenon that flying saucers fans are seeing these days."

Wednesday, October 20, at 07:30 p.m., a resident of Bezoutte in the Côte-d'Or, worthy of faith, saw, during 7 to 8 seconds, in the starry sky, a luminous white-orange disc that moved northeast - southwest, at high speed and silently. This disc which was 20 or 30 times larger than a shooting star or a "meteor" is probably the phenomenon that flying saucers fans see these days.
